Overall a pleasant stay but the receptionist staff were a bit weak on efficiency, possibly because of their limited English. And the hotel did not try to provide hot water in my room for the entire stay, lukewarm at best. For $45 a night, hot water is not much to ask for. And the breakfast, at least the Western option, was very ordinary. I went out to eat elsewhere after the first day.

lovely hotel to realax within crowded Phnom Penh
a calm and quiet place away from the huzzle and buzzle

a small hotel with lovely lounges around the pool. the high wall blocking off the street helps you to unwind. the bath rooms are very nice. for westerners the only down side in this hotel are the hard mattresses.
Travel tip:
our taxi driver had problems finding the place as it is in a small side street. if you want to be near the main sight seeing attractions i wouldn't stay there, but for your second time in pnh i would certainly chose this place.

You step into the hotel and you feel as though you enter a lovely, quiet hideaway. The pool is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Staff are helpful and friendly. Owner Wang is also very personable. Food is pretty good and value for money. Love the bathrooms!
Shopping Tip:
There are lovely shops along Street 240. Must visit: Lotus boutique, Elsewhere, Daisy boutique.

My wife and I stayed at Hilary's in Phnom Penh and had a great time. The hotel is out of the chaos of the city centre but a short tuk-tuk ride to all that the city has to offer. It is also very modern and new, with the rooms being clean, stylishly decorated and very homely. The food is superb, with both western and asian dishes on the menu - loved the sweet and sour chicken! Staff are all very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Would recommend Hilary's Boutique Hotel is you are staying in Phnom Penh

we stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel and cannot fault the service or the staff. nothing was a problem and their aim is to please. the swimming pool was the perfect way to end the day with a cocktail or the spectacular local fruit punch drinks served up by the resident bar. the hotel is in a quiet location but within in easy reach to phnom penh riverside cafes and shops. the rooms are spotless and tastefully furnished. thank you veng and rona for a memorable stay at hilary's.
Restaurant Tip:
Stay, relax at the pool have a meal at the hotel you will be pleased with the local food prepared by the resident chef.

Nice new small hotel

I chose this new hotel because it is close to my office and i was not disappointed. Everything worked fine (including wifi) and staff was helpful and eager to learn. Pool small but OK for refreshing dive after work. Coffee can be better.

Ein angenehm kleines Hotel hinter einer hohen Wand, womit die hektische Grosstadt einen nicht mehr stoert, wenn man mal abschalten will. Um den pool sind genuegend Sitz- und Liegemoeglichkeiten, die das Ausspannen gut ermoeglichen, und alles in einer angenehmen Athmosphaere. Die Zimmer sind geraeumig und haben ausgezeichnete Baeder. Das Einzige.... die harten Matratzen.... wie meistens in Asien.
Travel tip:
Unser Taxifahrer hatte Schwierigkeiten das Hotel zu finden, denn die Strassennummer folgt nicht der eigentl. logischen Reihenfolge.-
