Room large to put a family, good locate nearby river and the Royal Palace. Many bar nearby. Best location in the town, within walking distance to palace, bar and lots of places nearly.
Most rooms has a kitchen, just like staying at home, services ok for what needed.

as usual, perfect stay at himawari. this time with my family, got studio with an extra bed. all perfect ! don't look for another place to stay !

Modern, friendly and great breakfast!

the himawari is located at the far end of the sisowath quay but is an easy stroll to the royal palace, shops, restaurants and bars.
the building was modern with a huge under used area in the reception but it did not feel impersonal and the staff worked hard to answer any queries.
the room/suite had a small kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave which we didn't use but would be a boon for a family.
the breakfast was comprehensive with impeccable service.
the pool was often overcrowded with nowhere to sit.
Shopping Tip:
the wonderful 240 street is just a stroll from the hotel with its elegant cafes and shops selling locally made goods and fashions.

My 5th stay at Himawari, this time with my family. Everything was perfect and an extra bed was added to the studio. We enjoyed the cruise on the hotel boat for the price of an onboard drink.
Will come again

Staying there with good view of the river, most sights, restaurants and bars are within easy reach.
The staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean. Free WiFi in the lobby. Great to stay there, my favorite hotel in Phnom Penh!
Travel tip:
Take a sunset trip with the "Kanika" Restaurant/Bar Riverboat right in front of the hotel, the ride is free and the drinks reasonable, nice crew!
