my mother and i stayed here for 3 nights - the himawari gave a great first impression of cambodia. the food was some of the best i have eaten anywhere in the world and the staff very happy and engaging. all speak very good english and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. hope to go back again one day.

Well it is winter in Cambodia but no air conditioning is still a painful experience. Oddly characterless rooms
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is near everything.. and although there is a Pencil mall virtually across the street.. a second a short 4 or blocks away will lead you past Monument Books and Blue Pumpkin Restaurant and next to Pencil is Brown's Bakery.. well worth the stroll

Great location.... but room not up to standard

Rather pricy for the quality of the room.
for 2 adults and to kids sleeping facilities were not up to expected standard.
That being said we had a great stay. Location is great, friendly and helpful staff (but you find that most places in Cambodia), great swiming pool for the kids. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet with both egg and waffle station.

The hotel is well located right on the Mekong and has large rooms, a nice gym and a good breakfast...but even with all these its an old property and definitely should not be priced above a 100 US dollars ...which it was when i stayed there. For that price, the newer Naga World Casino & Hotel which is nearby this one would be a better choice.

i loved it, ad i plan to book again next time i'm in phnom penh. this is a comfortable environment. the suite was a useful meeting environment for gathering with colleagues. i wish they had wi fi in the rooms, but the internet speed at the hookup was excellent.

on our recent business trip to cambodia, this is one of the best hotel that we've stayed in so far, the 2 bedroom executive are really spacious, clean and well kepted. comes with a wonderful balcony view and service staffs are friendly and professional. highly recommended to all business executive if they are looking for a good 4 star hotel to stay in.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you need to get around the city, the hotel can arrange transportation with good English speaking driver with car for a reasonably rate to help you.

It was a good experience and reasonable value for money. The rooms are very spacious but somewhat dated but tollerable. Breakfast was quite OK with plenty of options but not as special as other peoples' reviews had commented. Free Internet connections wireless/ethernet was welcomed.

This hotel is a lovely retreat to come back to after a day out in the hectic pace of Phnom Penh. A good breakfast is provided and there is a nice pool area by the river.
