For sight seeing, just ask any 'tuk-tuk' to bring to any place around Phnom Penh. Among the places are Russian Market, Central Market, Killing Field. If you have more timr, I thin you can hire taxi to go to Siam Reap. Regarding the hotel, I thing its to espensive and not suit the rate and its features. For me, it should not be rated more than three stars hotel.

hotel with many facilities, but rather old and worn out. the hotel was probably on its peak 20 years ago, and now it seems to need a renovation, including upgrading of staff.
in general an ok hotel, but newer and more fashioned hotels can be found in phnom penh to a cheaper price.

It used to be kind of government guesthouse, I guess. Its very big hotel with swimming pool, tennis course, playing ground for kids. But except some friendly receptionists in the VIP floor, other staff are not nice and friendly. Never see smiles on their faces.
Only 4 double rooms in each floor, therefore have to stay in twin room for some days. Rooms are clean.

Close to Royal palace, main street with many restaurants nearby,

Lovely Grand Hotel

The hotel is a little tired but other than that it was a wonderful stay. The only issue is the total absolute lack of service by the pool. We spent two hours by the pool and not once were we offered any food or beverage. We would have spent alot more money by lunching by the pool or taking in a cocktail or two had there been any service. Definately an error in revenue raising. A beautifull pool bar that was never open.
