Well trained and friendly staff, Good location near to Royal Palace and waterfront, old style design with lots of space in hotel, gave free room upgrade to club floor

Some quiet renovation going on,5 minutes walk to nearest external restaurant, average breakfast

I must confess I was a little concerned before arrivng at the Cambodiana hotel because I had read many previous reviews stating how old the hotel was. But we were pleasantly surprised ro find that this was not a problem at all. In fact, the hotel is quietly being renovated and this may also be why we were upgraded to the club floor without even our asking - there was somescaffolding outside our window, and perhaps the hotel did not want to put a genuine club floor reservation in those rooms. Besides the quite acceptable building and fittings, the staff were also more than attentive, courteous and helpful.

Good location and facilities

renovating and interior of room is old

Generally a good stay with good and attentive staffs. Location was a key factor and only issues was that it was undergoing renovation and the scaffolding was blocking the potential wonderful views. The food was expensive and not that wonderful. Fortunately, the deli served some wonderful confectionary. But luckily, food nearby is cheaper with greater variety.

Swimming pool, tennis court, gym and dining facilities

needs an upgrade

Returned from Battambang in northern Cambodia for an overnight with my wife and grandchild.Previously left luggage at Cambodiana for storage. Welcomed on return. Staff again were very friendly and helpful. The musician in the foyer was very graceful and provided quality background entertainment for new arrivals. Again coffee lounge was great just to relax after a long trip and refreshing. Likewise the swimming pool was great just to cool off after a long journey. Facility is very grandiose in keeping with Cambodian traditional buildings and a very good attraction. This time we saw it from both the road and also took a trip on the water to experience a different perspective. Good value

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Good to have a trip on the waterways - inexpensive to get different perspectives of the country

Good business centre, good internet, good swimming pool

needs an internal upgrade in the rooms

As a businessman involved in frequent travel, I found the staff very warm and friendly. Good understading of English and always helpful. Easy to get taxis or tuk tuks to get around - concierge and doormen very obliging. Security good value. Facilities at local shops across the road nice and handy as is the restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Plenty of local entertainment on the waterfront. Overall very good value.

Nightlife Tip : Good night life in the main street within walking distance of the hotel

Swimming pool, view out over the water, security, internet access

starting to look "tired" inside - needs an upgrade within the rooms. Tennis courts - you should not have to pay to hire tennis racquets if the complex has tennis courts. Should be part of the facilities.

We had two visits to the Cambodiana during October (on business but with my wife and grandson). The first was seven nights. Staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. Dining facilities were very good at the main dining room, the coffee shop and the ice cream/bakery area. Smoking in the main dining area was unsatisfactory as the smoke wafts towards the theoretical "non-smoking" area. Cigars should be banned and the eating areas inside should all be non smoking. Likewise the room - we requested a non-smoking room and unfortunately had to have one with previous smokers. The room was sprayed a number of times before it was clear to use. Outlook was very good. Inside the hotel needs an upgrade (although we were advised that some rooms had been recently painted and there were renovations in progress). Overall good value and I would stay there again.

Restaurant Tip : Plenty of good restaurants in the main street within walking distance from the hotel

It's location along the river... in a rather central position... it's wide rooms... the cheerfullness of the staff...

I think the River side is not developped enough... one afternoon (Saturday 22Nd of Agust) I stayed there for 3 hours... nobody came to ask me if I wanted a drink... What be nice also is to have an hotel pier where can take a boat ride... May be also yu could have "cultural show", dances of at least more music... not only a short one in evening...

I like Cambodia and I like your Cambodiana hotel which architecture fit with the environment... Coming here for work, it became like also a relaxing experience after work... I met people with who we became friends... I will be coming back soon and do not even look to another location... I know my friends also come regularly to this hotel... See yu soon...

The hotel has a good atmosphere, I always enjoy staying there.

I think the hotel could do with an upgrade.

I have now stayed at the Hotel Cambodiana for the fourth time and happy to say thoroughly enjoyed again. I enjoy the atmosphere here and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy kicking off the evening at the Q Bar, really enjoy the bands I have seen there and the staff are very friendly and efficient, very comfortable and enjoyable. Overall enjoy staying here, find it very relaxing by the pool and staff are great.

Hotel Feature Tip : Love the Q Bar, great way to kick off the night, great bands and music.

good location

not very helpful/friendly staff, so so breakfast, old room

This hotel is situated in a very good location and looks very attractive from the outside -- gardens, tennis court and a big parking lot with good security. Once inside, it's very different: staff appeared to be unfriendly and unhelpful compared to other hotels we stayed during the trip. We booked just 1 night using Agoda just to try it out and left the next day for Sokhon Club Hotel and remained there for the rest of our trip. The included breakfast was OK. The staffs at the restaurant were walking around but not helpful. For example, for us, a first timer to the hotel it would be helpful if the staff could be helpful and show us the table where we can sit. We had to make effort to contact the restaurant staff just to get the coffee every time we want the cup filled. Again compared to similar hotels we had stayed, the restaurant breakfast service was terrible. There are many more negatives, but this is probably good enough for me to not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Staff lovely, room nice and big, good location, medical centre ground floor, great pool, Tuk tuks always waiting

All cots fixed on rocking mode, extras a bit expensive (eg. room service, bar, clothes cleaning, minibar), coffee at breakfast!

We had 2 children under 3... so the hotel was critical to the success of our trip. They accommodated all our needs from highchairs, extra pillows and early breakfasts. Staff where willing to help all they could. The hotel was walking distance to the main tourist areas. The staff were also wonderful and friendly to our children - which made the trip so much more enjoyable.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near the Royal Palace and river drag..

The Cambodiana hotel is very near to our business point and very comfortable to travel and go to every places.

Decoration style is quite normal but it o.k.

The Cambodiana hotel is very close to Airport and very comfortable when you need to traveling or go to any Business point or government office. Superior room is quite normal decoration style but it clean, calm and good for relax. It have wireless internet service for Businessman which is very goods point. It's near to many good restaurant. Moreover, price for this hotel is very reasonable when compare which other same standard hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Cambodia Museum.

Service is good at the hotel. Rooms are clean although they are somewhat outdated. The breakfast buffet is good and the location is decent.

Room decor could use updating.

We only stayed here for a short time. The rooms were clean and the service was good. Not quite up to 5 star standard we were expecting. The rooms could use some renovations. A/C was good (Phnom Pehn is hot...so that was nice). Elevators were slow and so was the service at times, but at least the staff was friendly. The rooms aren't that pretty, but they work. However, we were expecting a little more for the money.

Restaurant Tip : There are several good restaurants located on the street w/the hotel. Just walk along the water and stop where you want! The Khmer restaurant located under Pacharan was excellent!

Good view of Mekhon river

Very cold inside room

I enjoyed staynig here very much. Air conditioning of the room I stayed was too cool, rather cold, you can switch off it. It may be good for the environment preservation, though.

river view, large rooms, nice staff.

looking old and tired.

this hotel is fine, great location and comfortable. It could do with some refurbishment: bathroom, carpets and curtains look old and tired. Nevertheless, the hotel is comfortable and clean.

Rooms of reasonable size with 2 beds that could accommodate a family of 4

Large, impersonal hotel. Taxi has to stop at the main entrance, so we had to carry bags inside ourselves in the rain. Food vastly over-priced

On arrival, the taxi could not enter the hotel grounds as there was a wedding function taking place and only wedding guest cars were allowed in. This meant that we had to walk from the main road up to the hotel with all of our luggage. In the rain! The room was clean, and contained 2 beds that could accommodate a family of 4. However, this was the only plus point. The staff were not particularly friendly (although they did speak good English), and everything in the hotel was vastly over-priced compared with other hotels we used and bars/restaurants outside - conservatively three times the price of other restaurants. Breakfast was buffet-style and acceptable rather than good.

Hotel Feature Tip : Try another hotel! The Amanjaya Pancam is much better, if you do not need the swimming pool.

Located on Mekong river, walking distance to Museum and Royal palace, bub street.

A bit tired looking.

Very big hotel, Excellent location, good views of the river, has seen better days. There is another hotel next to it (?Himavari) which looks very new. The room should face the river though. Food is very good, there is a wine shop and bakery shop in the hotel.
