Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Helpful staff, nice service
8.3
Due to 10 day cremation ceremony of the King and Chinese New Year, there was a lot of congestion and fireworks late at night and early morning. The basic room was on the top floor, roomy and clean. Breakfast was ok, with fruit buffet and eggs to order. Even though I was on the third floor, the staff brought my luggage upstairs for me and also helped again at check out. Tuk tuks are available outside the gate of the hotel.

Not worth the pricetag
Pool area is nice although not very tranquil, staff are helpful, good breakfast
6.3
I have stayed in various places in south east asia and have stayed in other places in phnom penh and decided to splash out slightly on my last night. The room was clean but no better (and in some cases worse) than rooms I had payed half the price. My room was right next to reception and the street, so very noisy. I asked to be moved but not possible. The airport pick up was not included in the room price and was charged at an inflated price. Other guesthouses include this in the price. The location is not great. Although reasonably central, if one wants to walk there are several main intersections to traverse. The pool is tiny! Photo of pool is very misleading. I would not recommend staying here at this price.

Great boutique hotel in PP
Lots of character, the GM is great and so is the staff!
10
I stayed at this hotel for several nights in PP. Had a great experience and the food is excellent. The BBQ done by the GM on Thursday night is superb. There is no elevator so be prepared for stairs. Internet is better in the common areas than the rooms. Overall, a great experience and I would stay again if I visit again...

Excellent service in a stylish hotel
Good buffet breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, lots of common areas for seating
8.7
the australian manager was exceptional - friendly and helpful without being overbearing or pushy. good breakfast and comfortable rooms. over the 3 floors there is heaps of room to sit and read/use computer etc in peace. the pool is small but ok, wifi slow and sometimes cutting out. location is satisfactory.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a staff member who sits outside the hotel to organize a tuk tuk for you, but it will have at least a $1 surcharge. Walk around the corner (20 meters) and save yourself a few bucks.

1) tiny pool (more like a bath tub)
2) there's a gap for each room door.. outsider can peek in

The motel looked good on the internet but there was a couple of things I didnt like to I moved on after my pre booked two nights. The motel is clean and everything worked which is a bonus in Cambodia. One thing I didnt like is the room window faced inwards onto a walkway which ringed an internat courtyard. The window has a blind only so there is no privacy if you want natural light. The other thing is the small pool is right next to the open area reception desk (may not be an issue for others)The motel is walled off from the street (which is a shit fight).
Internet was good.
Breakfast average but ok.
Restaurant Tip:
US dollars are the go.

Good service but not four star
The staff are helpful . The breakfast is well laid out and decent.
6.7
the room was clean , but it is an old structure.
there are no elevators .
there were small black ants in the room.
the toiletries too were very basic .
it definitely does not qualify as a four star hotel.
and though the place where the hotel is located can be called city centre ( in a way ) - the real excitement and throb is near the riverside and there are better hotels ( per external appearance ) in that place . and genuine 4 stars and five stars.
if rated as a budget hotel - this hotel is very good / excellent ( and so too should the room tariff revised / adjusted as appropriate )
but if rated against a star of four star - it is about average .
for the same price - i got a genuine four star at siem reap and real value for money .
Restaurant Tip:
There is an Indian restaurant at 10 minutes walk from the hotel towards royal palace . also serves vegetarian food.
