Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Very nice small comfortable hotel
Comfortabel beds, small but nice pool, friendly staff
8.7
We enjoyed our stay at Nine and will definitely stay again when in Phnom Penh. Rooms are good and comfortable, staff friendly and nice little pool. There is another "9"hotel near the lazy Gecko and Tuk Tuk drivers always seem to head for that one first. Most can't read or write so giving them a street address is useless. The hotel has an excellent giveaway map so you can plot the course for them.

We had a great time at Hotel Nine. We had a family room that was ok, more on a basic side but also more than enough. Kids specially enjoyed DVD player in the evening. The restaurant was nice with good tapas, shakes & kids menu. My big thumbs up for the honesty of the stuff. My son forgot his kindle on the terrace and when I later asked the stuff if they might have seen it they immediately said that they put it on a safe place and brought it back to me. Great service with a smile.

Great central location with friendly staff
Good value for money, central location, swimming pool and lovely shared areas.
8.3
hotel nine is centrally located near to the independence monument which makes it easy to walk to the riverside area and to the museum etc. as a family of five, we had a two room suite which was compact but clean. it doesn't matter that the rooms are a little on the small side as there are lovely shared patio areas where you can sit out and have a drink, or watch children swimming in the pool. the breakfast is good, with a small but tasty selection of hot and cold foods. our children really enjoyed the swimming pool, and while it is not huge it is absolutely all you need to cool off after a hot, dusty day. in the early evening, the bar has happy hour, and we enjoyed cheap cocktails before heading out to dinner. the hotel does do food as well, and our children particularly liked the selection.
Travel tip:
Walk down to the National Museum and watch one of the dance performances put on each evening around 7 pm. Have a drink during happy hour at the Foreign Correspondents Club and soak up the beautiful view from the rooftop bar.

a lovely hotel squished into an odd location
clean, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, nice pool

hotel 9 does a great job with the limited space it has across the street from an outdoor market. the street it's on is very crowded, but the hotel staff made a place for us to park our car each time we came and went--a definitely plus! there is a nice open common area on each floor for gathering.

Friendly, well run Oasis
Food, Pool, location, staff

franco greeted us on arrival and from that moment on we felt at home.
we enjoyed a lovely dip in the pool and many lovely cocktails in the bar.
room was large and comfortable bout the finishings were a little rough around the edges.
Travel tip:
If you are game, turn right out of the hotel and wander up the road about 100 metres to the local market.
This aint no tourist market but a real local market and is very interesting. A total maze of a place.

stayed for four nights, with two young kids aged 7 and 8. we had arranged airport pick up and was greeted by an enthusiastic and friendly driver. on arrival, check in was smooth and all the staff made you feel welcome. the hotel is located on a side street just off sihanouk avenue which is easy walking to the riverfront and any number of interesting local areas. plenty of remork-motos (tuk tuks) in the street who will accept a fair price readily. the hotel itself has plenty of lounges in the pool area that you can settle onto after a hot day and surf the web or read while having a cool drink, or two. we had a family room which was next to the bar/cafe and pool area but was never noisy. the two floors have balconies where you can look out over the street and watch the world go by. the manager franco has a wealth of knowledge about se asia travel and is always available for a chat. without doubt this little hotel is a hidden gem, will definitely be back.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a tuk tuk for the day and just cruise around the city, you'll find plenty of interesting sights off the normal tourist track.

Great service but bad location

it was in the center of a night/early market and karaoke... my kids complain throughout our stay... we couldn't sleep at night the loud noise went throughout the whole day starting from 5am to 1 or 2 am daily... i don't reccommend this hotel but the service is great, although you can get great service any where as long as you have money!
