For the price we have had much nicer in Cambodia. However the rooms were clean, just really run down and very small. The room was so hot even with the fan! We stayed on 3rd floor, where there was a communal balcony, which had a good view of the hustle and bustle. The resteraunt area downstairs is full of all sorts of different people, the staff live there too I think so they just lied about watching telly. A bit seedy.

Pretty run-down. we had to climb 3 super high stairs in the heat to a fa fan room which was pactically a sauna and the only window we got was the tiny one that faced the corridor - if we left the curtains open people can see in so there is no way to get any good ventilation. bathroom mat filthy, walls are flaking and vandalised. For the same price go next door to Malis guest house for AC rooms and professional service.

When we got there, we weren't even out of the Tuktuk and the guys at reception already knew who we were and were ready to show us our room right away. the room was clean, and i feel like a lot of the guest houses in phnom penh are the same, but it was old, the walls were cracking, and the toilet smelled a little. all in all though, it could have been far worse, and we weren't uncomfortable. the sheets were clean and the bathroom had clearly been given a decent swipe. The window opened onto the hallway, but honestly i'm probably making it sound worse than it was. it was exactly what i was expecting to find throughout se asia on our budget, but we got spoiled up until then.

Great little guesthouse, make you feel at home

We stayed here for 3 nights and as soon as we arrived the people here could not have been more lovely. They make you feel at home the guys are just really nice.
The bedrooms could be a little cleaner but this did not hinder our stay at all.
Restaurant Tip:
Shu-a-punjab indian restaurant a few streets down, hands down the best indian I have had in Asia

We pre-booked 8 nights at this hotel, which was probably a mistake. There seem to be other guesthouses in the neighbourhood that are a better value. We were given a fan room on the top floor that was insanely hot. We had been travelling for 2 months in SE Asia with no air conditioning and it was never a problem until here. The room was hotter during the day than it was outside (and it was 36 degrees Celsius outside). After a few days, we couldn't take it anymore and asked for a new room. We had to wait another night for one to open up, but when it did we moved and the temperature was much more reasonable. The restaurant here is overpriced. Go to the guesthouse next door for good, cheap food (and for better tour/transportation prices).

My order is single room with fan,they also don't have the hot water.
I want to catch the early flight,so i asked the hotel staff to ready the breakfast(boiled egg) in the night before,but they told me it an impossible require.
