Lovely hotel, charming staff

Hotel Leela isn't going to be winning any luxury awards anytime soon -- it's a middling hotel in a developing country - but given that I was in town for business and travel frequently, I actually became rather fond of the place. The non-smoking room actually didn't smell like smoke. When the internet wasn't working, the desk staff got it going right away -- then callded me to make sure I could get online. On the other hand, it was a little loud on the street side, and the daily need to reboot the router so I could do my work... but, overall, I was pleased.

The hotel was fine, comfortable, WiFi worked and was included, everyone was friendly and helpful and there was none of the nickel-and-diming adding charges for all kinds of little things I've come to expect at hotels. What I paid online was teh full cost.
Downside was breakfast was really poor,most things on menu not available, also I prefer fan to AC, the AC worked but the fan only came on if the light was on which made it not work at night.

There personal are very gentle, they look to serve the client. The location is not very central, so you need tuk tuk is you want to somewhere near the central market

Restaurant Tip:
There are some good and quiet restaurant near there but the food is good. And in front of Calmet Hotel nearby there is a famous Cafè call Park Cafè.
