Tranquility and comfort
The personalised service and advice
9.3
I regularly stay here, simply because of the peace and quiet, the discreet attention and the privacy. leads his staff by example, and his staff pay special and personal attention to what is a mixed and varied clientele.
Clientele also pay attention to the quiet and gentle ambience; it is a lovely home away from home.
Oh, and book early. Demand is starting to outstrip supply!

Comfortable hotel, secure, good value for money
Location, small size, comfort, swimming pool, friendly atmosphere
9.7
Manor House is a small boutique hotel created from a private villa in the heart of Phnom Penh. Major features include the quiet but central location, the swimming pool (which has a pleasant "tropical garden" feel), and the quiet helpfulness of the staff and owner.
The hotel is also gay-friendly, but this shouldn't stop non-gays from considering it.
A basic breakfast is offered from 9 to 11, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for other meals (none really within walking distance - Phnom Penh isn't a pedestrian-friendly city). Free WiFi with a good speed in all rooms and the pool area.

This B & B is small, quiet, homely, safe and solicitous of guests' welfare. There are probably other places in PNH similarly accommodating, but not for the sheer peace, quiet and friendliness of all staff.

Home from home
Great location, spotlessly clean and superb staff
8.7
cannot recommend this more highly. david, the owner, is overseeing the hotel and his attention to detail is evident. he is knowledgeable about all aspects of the city and, having followed a lot of his recommendations, he knows his stuff!!
good staff, great courtyard gardens with pool and terrace and a great breakfast. add to this fast internet, free tea and coffee ..... what more could a women want! please do not reply to this comment!!!
the house is still undergoing refurbishment but i.felt more comfortable here than in the ritz in london, the reason being, you feel relaxed and at home.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't trawl through hotel sites, must book this one, close to everything, and yet in an oasis setting

Great Hotel! Friendly Staff!
Huge Rooms and Great Staff!
9.3
This is truly a great find in Phnom Penh! The rooms are huge, they are quite and they are clean. The owner is friendly, helpful and welcoming. David, the owner introduced me to several locations around town which was a pleasant surprise for my first visit to the city. The staff always made me feel welcome anywhere on the property. The atmosphere was so refreshing, it was great to meet some wonderful guest out front on the balcony or downstairs by the pool. Thank you so much David and your staff for a great couple of nights! Will definitely be returning the next time I come back to Phen Phen. This is a great change from the typical big chain hotels.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rainbow Bar has a great show and nice sound system....Blue Chilli can be a busy bar and a tourist destination for the ladies and their sound system is horrible.

Boomerangs galore
Care and attention to detail.

The staff of Manor House augment an already august reputation for comfort and quiet surroundings in the midst of a bustling metropolis. The gradual refurbishment of rooms is unobtrusive, the attention friendly but discreet, and the advice impeccable.
I keep coming back!

Great location with a pool
9
I like to stay in this the this hotel on my stay in Phnom Penh. The hotel is very very pleasant, the staff is extremely polite and good. The hotel is very close to nice areas close to the Indipendent monument, but on a quiet street. The pool is a good plus. The hotle has been renovating and made places even nicer. This is not fancy, but cosy, and worth of the price.

An oasis of calm
The location, the amenities and the service.
9.7
Once again, a perfect stay. The well-tended greenery dampens any reflected noise, the pool generates its own micro-climate, social and cool. The attention of a pleasant and languid staff add to the intended tranquil ambiance of the whole establishment.

Clean rooms with exceptional staff
Pool, internet and the friendliness of the staff
10
i stayed for 4 nights for a business trip which meant i was at the hotel for breakfast and then again in the evening for a swim and relax by the pool. it has a great location for accessing the many good restaurants and wine bars. the salt pool it wonderful and it was lovely to relax there after a day of meetings.
the staff are very polite and friendly. the level of english spoken is high and i had no problems being able to request information on restaurants and places to drink. manor house is a relaxed place, clean and represents good value in phnom penh.
Restaurant Tip:
K'nyay is an excellent and popular khmer and vegetarian restaurant close by. Next door is K2 which is a delightful place to have a drink or two.
