it's my best choice to stay here at my vacation. An environment should be experienced on your own and it is wonderful place where all staff are so friendly and enthusiasm to show us about local restaurant, attractions and of course included lunch/ dinner at pool/room service.

We were 2 friends travelling. Accidently filled in 1 person on when booking and had to pay a 7 dollar guest fee because of this. No big deal but thought it was a bit cheap...

The hotel’s owner lives on the property that he manages with his staff, so he makes sure everything runs smoothly and can quickly correct anything that needs fixing. I could walk or take a short tuk-tuk ride to offices for business and to the riverfront & tourist attractions for pleasure. It was always quiet for work or sleep. Good value for money.

We really enjoyed ourselves and would certainly return in the future. Quiet and cozy.
It is clearly a gay friendly hotel but we as a straight couple didn't find this to be a problem at all. If you are bothered by middle aged men with younger cambodian boys stay away. We found the staff to be kind and helpful and the other guests were polite an quiet.

Really friendly staff/owner with the cleanest rooms I've had anywhere in Cambodia. It was so nice to have a separate shower. The pool was nice and the breakfast was really good. I would stay here again.

Great B&B type hotel

The B&B style small hotel is located in an old home that I was told was once the residence of the Japanese Embassy staff. My room was spacious and comfortable, very clean with standard features ((TV, refrigerator, comp. water). Beautiful pool area next to outdoors breakfast area. Breakfast included was cooked to order each morning rather than being typical buffet style, and breakfast was available from 6:30am to 11:30am. Staff was was very friendly and helpful with advice on sights, eating locations and general information abut Phnom Penh. Tuk-tuks parked right outside the front gate were always available with friendly drivers charging very reasonable prices. It is very relaxing place to return to after being out-and-about all day in Phnom Penh. This is a gay friendly place to stay, and does cater to the gay community, although by no means exclusively gay.

my room at this colonial house style hotel was enormous - i've lived in smaller apartments. if anything i'd happily go for somewhere smaller and save a couple of dollars, but that's my issue not theirs and it was good value. the hotel and pool were clean and well appointed. it's a little on the outskirts (though phnom penh is very spread out anyway, and tuktuks are always available outside). cooked breakfast was a little hit and miss due to the language barrier - bacon and scrambled eggs came one day as bacon & fried eggs, and another with the bacon diced and stirred through the eggs, but staff were always very helpful. the australian manager was a great wealth of advice on how much to pay for day trips, etc as well.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Many locals will ask you if you have been to the killing fields yet, so do it early and show them that you acknowledge this difficult part of their history.
