Comfortable room overlooking a lovely pool. Nice hotel in a good location. Had lunch there which was so-so. Better restaurants on the street.

A lovely hotel, about 1km walk from passenger boat terminal, just back from the river and Sisowath Quay road with all he restaurants, so plenty of places to eat nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely deluxe room with balcony, great to look out at the activity on the street below (markets next door, building activity and general traffic). Don't book bus tickets with them though as you may end up on a cheap nasty bus like we did.

Did not stay here due to some building and room issues. The marketing manager did put us in another hotel just a bit away from where we originally had wanted to stay. The rooms at Sunway were nice, breakfast buffet was excellent. NO pool, that was a downer.

Dead centre of city but seems quite old

This seems to be one of the older "big" hotels in central PP. From what we heard it change owner and name a while back (used to be "Palace Hotel" or something like that). Staying two nights the hotel was completely lacking hot water, and the lifts were broken most of the time. Restaurant/bar area is huge and almost always empty which was very nice, just a few backpackers and another group also there on business. Pool area is nice and well shielded from the noisy/dirty street by a tall wall.
