Good location is all I can say about this Guesthouse. Very very busy turnover - no time to look after rooms. First room we were given you could not swing a cat in and it had a metal door. All rooms accessed via very narrow walkway and staircases - hate to think what would happen in the event of a fire. Rooms shappy and dated. Second room was marginally better although it was dark - no storage space toilet leaked drainage blocked. Room not cleaned whilst we were there & sheets did not fit bed. Our friends were given room no 5 that was superb in comparison. Staff hit & miss some very helpful others didn't want to know. Location was the plus side - very close to river and good local bars

Our room was very good, it was clean, good beds and perfectly acceptable for our one night stay. Staff were helpful, and was good for is location, and near to the river, palace, and plenty of restaurants. However our friends were disappointed with their room.

I stayed here two nights. Found the staff very helpful although they did tend to jump all over you with a menu when you came down from your room. Food there was good, I ate there a few times. They offer services for nearly everything and can give advice too. This was great but they did seem a bit desperate to make quick $ from you.
Room was clean but very small. Thin walls too. Found it hard to sleep with an internal window to the narrow hallways. Stairs are steep like mentioned in other reviews. Room probably a tiny bit over priced for what you get.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Maybe try for a room without an internal window, go with an outside window instead. Might make it a bit easier to sleep.

Everything was great about the stay except for the ventilation in the room. With just one fan on the wall beam, it was almost suffocating at night with minimal air flow and rising heat.

Good location, walking distance to the main area to eat etc. Mainly wanted a private room as I was with my mom and younger sister, but didnt want to spend much. Got a great room with AC that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good, staff is willing to help, and people hung out downstairs and watched movies most nights. We had a problem with a passport leaving, so called from the airport and they told us no problem, to just come right back. Would definitely stay here again!

The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, they have a public area serving food and drinks (we didnt think the food was great) but generally it was a pleasant place to stay. The rooms were of a good standard, reasonably comfortable with enough space for the two of us. The location was good, close to most things although most people travel by tuk tuk of which there are always plenty right outside, the guesthouse can also arrange drivers if u want. The staff were not overly friendly but fine all the same. The price was low, and overall it was an 'okay' experience.

Ok Guest House is ..... Ok.

Ok is good if you want a big room and don't mind over paying for it. The I included breakfast is nice but you can find it cheaper and better near by. They are slow in the kitchen and refused to serve us a basic muesli even though we were not due to leave for another 20 min. In short OK and overpriced.
Restaurant Tip:
Kingdom brewery has a restaurant on the river a couple of kilometers north of the hotel. Great food and a tastie dark lager.
