Hard to find location but value for money.
Big room with most of the creature comforts provided (eg. slippers, comb, shower cap, electric kettle)
The hotel was hard to find, and if you travelled by tuk tuk, then it probably won't have the power to take you up the spiral drive way to the hotel entrance on the second floor of a wet market complex. The reception is on the third floor and you have to take the lift down to the ground floor (which is the second floor), then exit by walking down another two flights of stairs to reach the street level.

Good for adventure
On top of the Orussey Market
It's good experience for me to stay at Oryssey Hotel. Although the entrance was difficult to find and Tuk Tuk was not allowed to enter the gate and I had to walk a long way up to the entrance, it's still interesting to stay here. BUT,I doesn't recommend this hotel for the travelers who are like as follows; the first visitors to Phnom Penh, not adventurous, want to buy some souvenir for family and friends, staying in Phnom Penh less than 3 days. want to have dinner around hotel. (There are no restaurants around the hotel at night.) It's good to stay just one night during your one week vacation in Phnom Penh, but I think it's enough.

Best hotel in Cambodia by a country mile
staff, wonderful sauna, scaldingly hot steam room, gay-friendly gym, elegant car park ramp entrance
The Orussey is where the magic happens. If Carlsberg made Cambodian hotels, this would be it ladies and gents. I had the lucky privilege of staying here for the best part of a month and not a second went by when I didn't thank the Lord himself for creating such majestic beauty. From the moment I walked up the car-ramp off the dusty corner of Orussey market I felt like I was home, both spiritually and physically. Walking through the downstairs restaurant made this feeling even stronger as I glanced around to see not a single soul, perfect in my hermitic existence.

Hard to find, but nice rooms, gym, good AC,
Gym, water pressure
This hotel can be hard to find. I arrived in the evening and it was getting dark. The tuk tuk drove around for 20 mins, I got frustrated and told him to just drop me off at any guest house. I found Orussey in the morning. The Hotel front entrance is located on the second floor. Walking to it can be a challenge. I suggest a tuk tuk, just tell them the hotel is on top of the Orrusey Market on the second floor. The entrance is on street 111 and they will have to drive up the parking ramp to the second floor. They wont need to pay for parking. Once you get there and get your bearings the hotel is friendly, and nice. the gym is a plus. Its located close to the olympic stadium, in the evening you can find the locals jogging, cardio, swimming, even jazzercise classes. I'm a runner so this was a good place to get in some cardio. Its far from the water front and night life though, you will need a tuk tuk to get to places. But the hotel has all the emenities. The second floor is a restaurant, cafe, the spa and kareoke is downstairs, and the bazar is on the lower levels. Great for the young, business and solo traveler, I dont recommend for family or Non- adventourous. Cheers,

Old hotel, not tto clean but doable
Next to mekong express busstop from HCMC
We looked for a hotel close to mekong's busstop from HCMC. This hotel is literary next to it. You have to get up via the parking entrance which is a bit strange. The hotel must have been a nice hotel 20 years ago. Now it shows that it has had it best time. Room size is good, they have all you need, but its dated. Shower cabine had cracks, broken pieces, the sink was leaking a bit, bedlinnen was clean but has been around for ame time. Room cleanliness was just acceptable, but you can see that cleaning is not their thing.

Gym, clean
Inconvenient location (too far from approachable restaurants i.e. river area, above rather smelly market, and even worse: right above karaoke bar with screamingly loud 'music' until 3AM); Unpleasant feeling in the hotel premisses (huge, empty, gloomy, many rooms without window, weird people walking around); Unhelpful and not to communicate with staff. Better accomodation in any point of view can be found for same price or less.

A pleasant suprise!
great air-conditioning, big bath
Big, beautiful rooms provide a haven away from the heat of the city. Great service, fantastic location and great price. Rooms are always clean and staff always friendly.

Really nice hotel, Great spa
Nice rooms, great spa
This hotel is on top of the orrusey market. This is a little strange because you have to walk through a parking lot to get there. But its worth it because its such a good value for money. The spa is free and great. Nice jacuzzis a sauna and a steam room. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyome

Fine, but not great
Rooms, staff
The hotel is ok and the staff is ok. But it is a bit far from the center, should be closer to the river. The area is not nice. I would take hotel with better location next time visiting Phnom Penh. The restaurants very not good at all in the hotel.

Pictures a bit deceptive
Good AC, powerful water pressure
So by the pictures I thought the place was going to be like a 5-star hotel, or at least really nice. I will say that some of the staff were very friendly and the hotel allowed me to push back my reservation one night because of delayed flights, but the lobby and surrounding area just weren't very neat and tidy. A bit run-down for sure. And there was extremely loud karaoke that kept me awake until 2 AM.
