It is a good idea to stay a little longer inside the hotel in the pool area with free WiFi.

If you are looking for a hotel just staying in and not going anywhere except with transport, then this is the hotel of you as it is basically quiet and isolated pub about 100 meters away. Anywhere you need to go, you need a tuk tuk which is one always available outside the hotel. Most of the tuk tuk dont know where this hotel is. So best bring the address of the hotel with you if you want to find this hotel.

  • Travel tip : The location of the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. All you get is local shop that double at internet shops. Nothing much is found near this hotel except for occasional bar or eatery about 100 meters aways. I took a walk around the area and walk almost 1 to 2 kilometer and found nothing much around. So make sure you plan your trip and know where you want to go with tuk tuk as there is nothing much to boast about around this hotel.

Hotelrooms are situated in a lush garden with pool. We were glad we had our own pool and didn't have to use this pool. It was nice though to have breakfast beside this pool in the early morning.

  • Restaurant Tip : You should try having a la carte dinner at the Raffles. It's really great. Food is superb and service is even better. Just a 10 minute rickshaw ride away from the hotel.

Guests are mostly young travellers, but of the quieter kind. While not the most expensive digs in town, it still costs 5 times the price of a guest house, helping to keep the troublemakers away. We didn't see anyone drunk etc. here.

  • Restaurant Tip : If you like to try high end Khmer food, go to Malis - wonderful food and ambience. Not cheap by Cambodian standards. If you miss home, go to Luigi - high end Sicilian joint, all the rave with expats.
