Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Great centrally located hotel to enjoy Phnom Penh
Large comfortable rooms in a great location and with good and friendly staff
8
The PC Hotel is ideally placed in Phnom Penh to enjoy the city's attractions - short walk to the riverside and central market and also right in the middle of the night life.
The owner is constantly present and very attentive, keeping the staff on their toes. The staff are anyway very good, speak excellent English and are also very friendly.
The hotel is in a grand old building, with very large airy rooms. Unusually for a hotel in this area it also has nice space outside including a great pool and sunbathing area.
The French management are also keen to promote the food - with excellent wines and rottisserie chicken being provided as samples free to guests.
I have now stayed in Phnom Penh three times and can certainly recommend the PC Hotel.

PC hotel is good quality hotel in the centre of to
clean room, friendly english speaking staff, nice swimming pool, close to main attractions in the centre

I had a great stay at PC Hotel, the rooms are nice and clean, good and fast internet connection in the rooms, bar and at the swimming pool. Good television reception.
The swimming pool and bar are ideal to relax and cool down after a busy day.
The staff is really friendly and always willing to help and they speak quite good English.
The hotel is near the royal palace so it's ideal as base to explore the city.
PC hotel is good quality for the price you pay.

Bad Experience
The best thing is to check out from this hotel.
2.3
The staff is not friendly or helpful. They treat me as I am staying for free. My booking was not acknowledged so i had to discuss with them several times. The rooms are much worse than what they look in the pictures and badly conditioned. No blankets and ridiculous amenities. The "included" breakfast is the most simple fried egg with nothing and nothing. Dirty in general. Without exaggeration there are better rooms at half the price. Would never come back again.

Great location, under staffed, no English, A/C nee
Lady night Mgr/ Concierge/ bar tender, some english, very helpful, friendly.
6.3
This hotel is located on a corner, accross from the "Walk about" a Rest./bar/w pool tables, You can walk one block to the Shanghia Cafe, a good night life restaurant bar,(after 5pm) American/European food, with prices reflecting the quality. Although I paid double occupancey, which included breakfast, their idea of breakfast was two pieces of dry bread, really that was it! I do not think you could class that as "Continental", except maybe ib Bangladesh.I will say they constructing what looked like a pool attached to the lobby/bar/Rest area, which was very and mostly I was the only customer.
Travel tip:
The small staff that was there, were very pleasant, and accomadating, they tried their best, top management was missing or non-existant! They were always curtiouse and helpful!

Check-out in afternoon = big trouble
4
Everything was ok with this hotel, until when I tried to check-out in the afternoon. Staff did not speak english, only the bar/recepsionist-girl spok english, bad english. They wouldn't understand that I had pre-paid my hotel , and 'forced' me to pay for all nights one more time. But now I was assured that my money will be refunded if I send the recipt (for the extra pay). There are many more hotels in the area, and I do NOT recommend PC Hotel.
Best nightlife in walkingdistance to hotel, good bars, walk or tuk-tuk to riverside or sights, both easy and cheap.

Good location, good price, some negatives
5.7
Well, this is a poor country, and considering their normal standards of living generally, the value was quite reasonable, typical tired amenities. Mosquito screens intact, aircon worked, nice overhead fan (sadly lacking in many SE Asian hotels), ensuite OK, though everything quite basic. Good location for central activities, booming nightlife close by, but not in a way that disturbed one’s rest or equanimity, and the hotel itself was peaceful. Staff English extremely poor.
Shopping Tip:
Be very, very careful to check all US dollar notes handed back to you as change. They use local currency for small transactions, e.g. to give you change less than a dollar, but US currency for everything else, which is preferred. But there is a very high rate of counterfeit US currency circulating, and you can get caught easily.

Good location hotel , but just ok
Location , price , room size
7.3
this hotel is very conveniently located , next to lots of dining and drinking options , rooms are large and clean with basic amenities , but no fridge , air conditioning could be better , luckily there is a fan in the room , bar down stairs and pool table but no air con . need more staff on the bar restaurant area , i think breakfast is included , but if i can recall it was pretty poor .
Restaurant Tip:
Shanghai down the road has decent pub style food .
