Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

My usually reliable hotel choice failed me
Still good service by good staff
5.7
Regent Park has been my choice for several years but now, as the renovated top floor is fully booked with long-stay guests, only the lower floors are available and these rooms need a serious upgrade.
Air-conditioners leaked, made roaring and rattling noises all night and I got little sleep. As this was a business trip, I needed rest at night but on saturday, there was noisy work with drills and jackhammers and this whole trip was 50% of what it used to be. WIFI was impossible!

Friendly staff that really tries
Room was large, a/c worked really well in 2nd room
8.3
the staff really tries. the made-to-order breakfasts are a treat after innumerable buffets. the first room with a lovely view on the 5th floor did not have a strong a/c. the second room on the 3rd floor had a much better a/c and no view, but the 3rd floor is being renovated. i did see one possible cockroach, but the staff sprayed the room twice for me. the tuk tuk drivers were very good, helpful and cheap. if they did not know where i wanted to go, they found someone who did, including a catholic church.
Restaurant Tip:
The meal that I had at Topaz was a very memorable meal and I have had many in my lifetime. I was not going to go to Raffles in Phnom Penh because the one in Singapore is highly overrated in my opinion. However, I remember photos of Jackie Kennedy there in 1967 so I went to High Tea. Now this Raffles Hotel I was not disappointed in it all. You could walk around the Hotel and have a lovely experience for old-timers.

Far better options for same money than this place
3.3
The rooms have nothing in them, terrible small windows with no views, the breakfast included you pick one thing of a menu and you get 1 juice or coffee, nothing else, we arranged a car for the morning with the hotel manager who promised 3 times it had been arranged, morning come, no car, they lied and said it was on it's way, then ten minutes later said it had broken Down and to go onto the street and get a tuk tuk, didn't offer ti help. Overall this hotel was the worst by far of the nine we used around Asia.
Same money we should have stayed around the corner where a friend was at hotel cambodiana.
Never stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Book somewhere else and I guarantee it will be nicer than this one.

I have stayed at the Regent PArk hotel many years and find that the room, cleanliness, service and quality of food does not diminish and the quality of service is always the same.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to temples, royal palace and the riverside!

Very old hotel
The hotel has a thai restaurant
4
the hotel is not easy to locate because the name of the hotel and the address is not easy to see (not visible) to person who is new to the hotel locationthe hotel is very old. the room and the bathroom where i stayed are dirty, the air conditioned unit is broken (the swing) is broken and the maintenance just put paper to make it steady.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very near the king palace and near the mekong delta river

Great Location with Old Rooms
Location, Friendly Staff, Nice Lobby
8
This hotel was adequate. The location is great, right across the street from Hun Sen Park and not far from the Royal Palace and the River Front. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only criticism is that the room I stayed in seemed old, worn and in need of renovation. The price wasn't bad, especially for the location. I would recommend it to somebody who wants to visit Phnom Penh who doesn't want to spend too much money, but doesn't want to stay in a guesthouse either.
Restaurant Tip:
Not far away on Street 240 ia an awesome American-style restaurant and bar called Freebird. The food is great and includes American and local favorites, the staff is friendly and warm, and the owner has done a spectacular job creating the atmosphere of an authentic restaurant and bar back in the States. Suitable for families as well. Highly recommended.

Great Location near Grand Palace
The plaza on which the hotel fronts
7.7
small hotel with personalized service. all the rooms dont face the front plaza with skyline of wat botun across the plaza. its location is ideal for sightseeing as we just walked down to the grand palace and silver pagoda complex. the national museum is north of the palace. to the south one can walk along the plaza and turn right towards the democracy monument. a variety of restaurants including indian ones are along this stretch.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
At the Silver Pagoda along the walls on the four sides of the courtyard is a almost 1km long mural of Cambodian epic of 'Ramakien" based on the Indian epic "Ramayana"

Lovely exterior lobby area & staff but needs work
5.7
although the staff try very hard to please you, the hotel itself is very tired and needs lots of maintenance. all sorts of things either didn't work or only worked occasionally. corridors upstairs roasting hot and air conditioners in rooms either couldn't be adjusted or didn't work at all. sometimes the shower would work and other times refused to co-operate.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Arrange a tuk tuk to take you to places of interest. They can be hired for around $25 per day.
