Clean an dfairly new facilities
Friendly helpful staff and close to river
High cost for basic facilities
The room smelt very smokey.
Meals (breakfast) at nearby restaurant was only continental style and limited choice and you had to order and wait for them to prepare and serve it. A buffett would be more convenient.
This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip.
It was about twice the price of what we paid everywhere in Thailand and even Siem Reap.
It was a clean well presented hotel but only had basic facitities for the price and the room smelt very smokey and there was noise from the alley/houses below.
Meals (breakfast) was at a nearby restaurant and it was only continental style with limited choice and you had to order and wait for them to prepare and serve it.
There is no lift but staff carried our bags up and down when we asked.
So overall not good value.

Great location, very new and modern, very helpful staff.
We had plumbing issues in our bathroom shower.
Great location, very new and modern. We had problems with the drain and water handles in the shower but the staff was helpful in taking care of things. We would definitely stay here again.

Remarkably attractive relaxing design features in public areas mitigate otherwise narrow building. Position close to the quay with good western-style restaurants while being equally near local market and local eateries
Very little needs improvement, it was such a good experience, but did run out of hot water in shower a few times (& no, I didn't stay for ever in the shower)
Full marks for convenient location and comfortable ambience of rooms and public areas. Breakfast, in Fish Restaurant (same owner as hotel) on corner with quay, literally just a few strides away, is rather sparse -- elegant, yes, but not a meal to see you through the day.
Though my room (back, left) had opaque window, unable see through, it was okay and ameliorated by plants between the two sets of glass.
I emailed the hotel and was offered taxi pickup for USD10 -- excellent service, very worthwhile. That and many other details made my stay at River 108 excellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel organized excellent tuk-tuk guide for me. Also the taxi cab driver they regularly use is reliable, has reasonable English and can help a lot
