Good location ,near river and markets
8.3
it was the second time i stayed there. i like the hotel because of its location in 172 street, near all the highlights such as royal palace.
i had again a small room which i think are for agoda customers !!.but free nescafe and tea , and the angkor beer in the room is only 1 dollar ......
the toilet smells as a sewerage , and that was also at my first stay there. but dont worry , ill be back again .

ok mattress, hot water, quiet room/ hotel. yes agree the side rooms to side of hotel are relatively quiet, their was a dog barking early but barely audible with ear plugs (so bring them). view at back of hotel is of junk yard but i dont think this is a stay for the view. vibrant street, with excellent food options blue dolphin , laughing fatman. their was a girlie bar nearby but they were discrete (i ate opposite). excellent location to waterfront and palace complex, all travellers needs nearby. pay no more than dollars from minivan dropoff point.could do with keeping some of the foods in the buffet warm, but overall fairly substantial varied breakfast, minus the sausage and bacon.
Restaurant Tip:
As above

The staff are very attentive. The rooms have everything you could need and buffet breakfast is very good. The hotel is well situated on a popular street for food and entertainment and is close to the main city sights.
Shopping Tip:
Visit the national museum and royal palace
The friends restaurant just round the corner is good and has an interesting shop next door to it

Good choice for visiting Phom Penh
Great location, spotless accommodation
9.3
Silver River is a good choice for visiting Phnom Penh, as it is centrally located close to the Kings Palace, National Museum etc. There is a great night food market just around the corner, many pubs and restaurants closely, still, it's not at all noisy. The rooms are spotless, bathroom is spacious with a good shower. Thumbs up.

Very nice room for the price
Clean, comfortable room in a central location
7.3
I enjoyed my stay at the Silver River Hotel. The staff were friendly and very efficient and the room was quite nice for the price I paid. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom with plenty of hot water, good TV reception and Wifi. The only negative thing was the very mediocre breakfast which I skipped after the first day. But for the price I paid I shouldn't complain.

Friendly service and area with good food

This hotel is nowhere near the river, as the name implies. It is a couple of minutes walk away. However, the street that the hotel is located in is packed full of affordable restaurants with amazing food and $0.50 beers. It is also walking distance to attractions such as the Silver Pagoda and the National Museum.
The hotel itself is good and the service was excellent. The breakfast had a good variety to choose from. No issues with the wifi. The hotel also helped with arranging a bus ticket to Siem Reap and a tuk-tuk to visit the Killing Fields.
Good choice for the budget conscious traveller.

I was alone for one night, and I don't feel safe sometimes in new places.
I liked the location, close to lots of interesting things, good shops and lots of food options around. I felt super safe at this hotel.
The hotel was very simple, with everything basic you need. Clean, good service. Basic breakfast, buffet and eggs made by order.
The view from my room wasn't that great, was in the back, and I could see trash, and dirty areas around the hotel.
Big build with a huge signage for the name, easy to find yourself if you are walking around for the first time in the new city.
