Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice Hotel
Very quiet hotel with great ambience
8.7
this is a relatively new hotel compared to others in the area. therefore, some taxi drivers or those "tuk-tuk" operators (similar to those in bangkok) will have problems locating it. do remember to get a name card of the hotel so that you can pass to the drivers/operators. if needs be, get assistance from nearby folks to translate for you. almost all buildings along the main streets will have friendly security guards who are more than willing to help (those that speak english).
once you are inside the hotel, you feel that you have entered another world. the quietness is excellent for a good rest and relax.
the location is near to few interesting places, including those related to shopping. (see travel tip).
Shopping Tip:
This is my first trip to Phnom Penh. I never imagine that shopping in Phnom Penh is such a "happening" activity.
Grab a tuk-tuk to and say that you want to go "Lucky Centre". It is a huge supermarket where you can buy numerous types of products. But the main objective is the building directly opposite Lucky Centre - the "WExport" fashion department store. It is a 4 (or 5?) storey department store that sells many well-known clothing brands including "Polo Rauph", "AX", "bebe", etc etc (feel free to censor off if no brand names should appear here). To me, the price is almost the same as those I see in factory US outlets (e.g., the one in Vegas).
According to the locals, those goods are authentic and they look authentic to me too (original price tags are still there, alongside with the discounted price that is a fraction of the original one).

Very nice hotel
Staff and executive lounge
8.7
we upgraded to executive lounge at check in and it was well worth it. the staff there was very helpful with sightseeing and attentive to our needs. the view from the lounge is great at sunset as you get a view of the river and the city.

They are using big space for hotel facilities and top class of services. French restaurant is not that nice but quite reasonable.
Travel tip:
River side is one of nice place to visit. So many foreigners.

great place
robbers at night, quiet dim streets and general sense of danger lurking everywhere.
4.3
Definitely worth a walk through, but like most Asian countries, jus a flea market with lots of junk for sale with high pressure salespeople! The food is the most interesting thing we found.
Probably the default destination for anyone looking to buy chopsticks, bamboo lacquerware, fake watches and designer gear etc. The people are pretty friendly and you'll definitely walk away with a bargain. If you do want to ship things back then I recommend heading to the big.....

The Best in Phnom Penh
Great Location and a new hotel
9.7
The riverside location was superb. Far enough from the action but only a couple minutes away. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Rooms were great. Very spacious with great facilities. Resturant's were great if you were eating in the hotel. Phnom Penh needed a new 5 star hotel and now they have one. Great hotel.
