I really did not feel welcomed. After checking in they were not as friendly. The room is nice but the shower area reminds me of a fancy guest house's.

Shopping Tip:
Shopping at the Russian market is better than the Central Market as it's got better ventilation and better choices.

Fantastic hotel
Great service, very elegant hotel

Just stayed there for one night but it was a very nice experience. Hotel is absolutely beautiful, service is up to what you would expect from a Sofitel and the room was spacious and well decorated. Not very far from the center, 10min with a tuk tuk but if you feel like staying in, they have several restaurants, bars and a pool.

Took my wife for a weekend away After reading the reviews I chose Sofitel. The reviews are correct Beautiful hotel, luxurious from the moment you enter. We had a club room and the club was just wonderful The service we received made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel Great breakfast and evening drinks Pay the extra and use the club level
One of the best hotels I stayed in Only slight downside is the location but a $2 tuk tuk ride to anywhere Tuk tuks are great fun

Very relaxing hotel and convenient

We wanted to have a quiet weekend in Phnom Penh so went there and it was so calm and quiet in the hotel which is not what you always get in this city where noise starts early in the morning and construction happening everywhere.
I loved the bathroom with very tasteful tiles and a shower next to (but not over) the bathtub. Well designed.

this was definately one of the better hotels that i have stayed at. it is new and has a distinctive feel about it. the staff were most courteous and the pricing for hotel services was most reasonable. the bathroom was a different layout to the usual, using two sliding doors to open in to a common area with his and hers basins with a wardrobe behind. off that room you had a shower/bath and toilet with glass doors, perhaps voyeurs would appreciate this... what impressed me the most was the fact that i was able to connect my laptop via hdmi to a wall socket that extended onto the plasma tv. best hotel in phnom penh hands down!
