My favorite in Phnom Penh

i wont stay there again due to management disapproval yet its is probably one of the bests hotels for, size, price,location, privacy....its a great hotel. just after traveling for an extended time i have little patience with hotel staff and a "complimentry bill" for breakfasts rice even though i didnt have to pay it was irritating and the manager misled me to book direct with him rather than online that i would save money (lie).
Hotel Feature Tip:
Its nice to use the fire escape as a balcony to take short breathers/look around....flowers bloom on the trees on the Street. They have a good gym

Its great for Phnom Penh. Much cheaper than the other Sokha Hotels. I like it there yet wont stay again
Restaurant Tip:
There is a nice Italian Restaraunt with real Authentic Homecooked food if you turn right out the door than right down the nexts street down a block or 2 down on the left side of street Genovise or something like that I believe its called

nice set breakfast with many alternatives to choose from. great location and an extremely service-minded staff. reasonable prices for staying, but the restaurant and contents in the minibar is highly overpriced. fortunately the karaoke-bar at the third floor was closed during our stay due to the king's three-day burial ceremony. the noise from it may keep you awake until it closes at 2 a.m. the gym is small, somewhat untidy and a little over-furnitured, causing conflicts with more than 4-5 people working out at the same time. the hotel as a whole is a little worn down, but clean and spacious.

the staffs were extremely kind and helpful. the room i originally checked in had poor internet connection and upon request they immediately moved me to a better room. the internet worked however it was slow.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The riverside is a great place for beer at night.
