Well equiped gym. Good location and breakfast. Not luxurious or particularly charming, but comfortable and well run. Was pleased with a hair cut and massage provided at the hotel's spa. You could maybe do slightly better on value and charm at other hotels, but location and gym outweighed the possible saving for me (which is not a great amount given the generally low current prices in Cambodia). min. 50 words
Travel tip : You can significantly reduce the cost of international calls by making them at one of the calling shops near the hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is being so close to both Wat Phnom and the river. The room was nice. Breakfast was pretty good. Only thing that was inconvenient was the previous night, I was told I could book the Mekong Express bus at 8AM the next morning. The next morning at 8, they said I'd have to wait until 8:30. Well, I was taking a tour at 8:30. Fortunately, our driver was able to take us directly to ticket office to reserve so it all worked out.

Good location, easy to get around from there -- centrally located near Wat Phnom. Room nice and clean, good patio. The Sunway is your classic business traveler hotel, centrally located, right across the street from US Embassy and near to everything, staff are friendly and professional, meetings room are good but nothing special. It is a standard 4 star hotel in all aspects. Comfortable, if you want to spend the money for it -- there are other places in Phnom Penh equally comfortable in PP for less, but for a short business trip, where your employer is paying, this is fine.

Beautiful & affordable business hotel! A bit far from Russian Market & airport This is a business-typed hotel with luxury facilities and interior/exterior. It is just right opposite Phnom Wat and US embassy. Its only a short-distance away from Mekong river and hot spots (pubs, lounge, disco). The staff are very helpful & friendly, meals are delicious and room are kept clean. For the value of money I've paid, I will strongly feel that this accommodation is worth-while.

There was a NOISY function going on on the floor below our room-102 This did end at 11.30 pm but there was no chance of getting to sleep before that. A warning was certainly put under our door earlier in the evening, but... I always thought the aim of a hotel was to be able to sleep at any time. A pleasant hotel of not more than 3 ***.
It was pricey compared with a much better and cheaper hotel we stayed in in Siem Reap-Somadevi.
I am pretty sure their advertising mentioned a swimming pool, but there was not one. Maybe I am wrong on that.
Service was good and the breakfast was fair.Location was good as we were able to walk to the river-side restaurants.
Plenty of tuk-tuks outside
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent transport outside of the hotel-inside can be expensive

The front view from the hotel is stunning whatever floor you are on. You can see the entire city as well as a bird's eye view of the US Embassy compound. Standard rooms are a bit spartan in their furnishings with only 2 chairs per room. The Sunway is a very attractive hotel in an ideal location, especially if you need to do have any contact with the US Embassy or USAID. The hotel is also close to UNICEF and a short distance from the river and north bridge leading out of the city. The hotel is right next to Wat Phnom, which is an historical land mark and the site where the city was founded, hence the name Phnom Penh. Dining at the main dining room is excellent albeit a bit on the expensive side ($21 for the evening buffet). Happy hour features a second drink free between 5 and 7 PM. Wireless Internet access was reasonable and very fast. Rates are a bit high at this hotel but still well within reason for a 4-star hotel.

Moderate rate, 5-star service I like Sunway hotel Phom Penh. Bedroom is clean and modern. No smoke smell in the bedroom and at the lobby. Delicious breakfast, internet connection is OK.

Clean room, good food and very polite staff. Having been comme back to stay in this Sunway hotel for the third time, I have still very impressed to the survice of all sections. The room have been well prepared each day. Breakfast was also good and tastety. As the hotel is in the centre of the city, you could have a walk to any direction easily. Taxi is also around for calling.Moreover, fitness and sauna rooms are available for the your evening relax. I will certainly stay here again if I could come backthe city in the firture.

-Location is convenient, yet a bit out of the way from central part of the city, a short tuktuk or cab ride away
-Overall what you would expect from a 4 star international hotel, i.e. no surprises.
Shopping Tip : Take a tuktuk/cab to the Russian Market if you'd like to buy dvd's, casual clothing, bags, sundries etc. It also has foodstalls inside with local food cooked on the spot for you.

Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the Spa facilities. There is no swimming pool or an area to relax outside. The hotel was of a good standard. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok but not the best. The staff were helpful and had a good level of English. The only disappointed was that there was no swimming pool or an area to relax outdoors. I used the Spa to get a massage which was reasonable priced and very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice comfortable hotel but not looking to swim or relax outside.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you need to go anywhere get a tuk tuk outside the hotel. Tell them your destination but do not agree a price. When you get to your destination give them 2 USD. That is the price of the tuk tuk. If you negotiate a price beforehand they will know you have just arrived and will try and charge you more.

The hotel is anonymous. It lacks of personality We had a room with a beautiful terrace in front of tha American Embassy. The hotel, even if is not very modern, is nice and clean. The location is 10/15 minutes far from the center.

Big comfortable international-standard room. Very clean, hotel & maid staff were very friendly and welcoming. A bit far to main river area for walking, but OK. I went to Phnom Penh as a solo tourist, and was pleasantly surprised by Sunway Hotel's big rooms and nice airy ambiance. Directly across from US Embassy compound, lots of open space around hotel. Easy to catch tuk-tuks in front or walk from hotel.
Shopping Tip : "Russian Market" has great bargain shopping, probably best place to look around for souvenirs in Phnom Penh.
