Great hotel, problems with staff
Room design, location, fantastic breakfast
8.3
Location is great, room design is awesome, and breakfast was fantastic! Had lots of miscommunications with reception staff: we asked if they had a pick up from the bus, they said no problem and sent a car to get us. When we got to the hotel and the driver charged us $7, we only then understood that it was not free, which shad failed to mention! When we told her we were not satisfied, she smiled and said, oh sorry! There were a few more issues like that. We would stay again, but be very clear with the reception staff to avoid miscommunications.

Cute little hotel and well presented
Mini pool on the terrace, large room, clean
8.7
We enjoyed our stay at the 240. Having the hotel named after the street sounds like a good idea, but rather confusing when you have to try and explain to someone where it is. Room was large and enjoyed the mini pool on the terrace. Breakfast was simple.

Comfortable, simple, quiet location
Breakfast, location, room size
8.3
It was a nice simple hotel for Phnom Penh standards, good value for money. The restaurant downstairs where you get breakfast from is an organic restaurant and they had amazing smoothies. We stayed in the private plunge pool room. We never used the pool it was small and I don't know how clean the water was. Overall it's a good hotel. Clean. The bathroom had no fan in the toilet room which was slightly awkward.

We booked 2 the same rooms via agoda, but somehow one of the rooms was not equal to the other. Its a terrible room! The bathroom is so old and not well taken care of! I was quite disappointed since we booked a room which should have a design / boutique bathroom with a bathtub( not similar with the second room we booked) . The water from the shower was flowing over to the toilet and the sink, so every time you go to the toilet your feet are totally wet. Besides that everything was so old- it had a yellow color which turned brown. The room was a bit better but here also there were big stains on the curtain. The pillows were to high and the bed too hard( not that of a big deal but still). However the room of my parents in law was perfect it als looked so much better, in better shape, exactly as the picture. I did not mention anything since we were staying here for just one day but i would not pick this hotel again on my return to phnom phen ! The staff is wonderfull tough. The breakfast was very good and you have the option to choose an organic menu: incl eggs( the way u like them), butter, homemade confiture, coffee, tea and fresh fruit. The garden where u can have the breakfastt is great. The hotel is located in the royal palace area: good to reach lots of places. It was very easy to book bus trips to siem raep via the hotel ( choose giantibis as a company - very comfortabel-pickup from hotel - wifi on bus)Dont take night busses- lots of accidents!
