I really liked the hotel. It made my stay in Phnom Penh worthwile. It seems to be a little oasis in this not yet developed city. I once ate there for dinner and it was very good and accorded the price average in PP.

In your website, this terrible hotel 252 in Phnom Penh is described as a 4 star hotel, and for this I took trust on
you.
But the experence was a nightmare for me. It is not a 4 star hotel, it cannot be valued even for a 2 star hotel! In the room, everything is made of cement so the room is filled with smell of cement!! And for fear of mosquitos I cannot open the window. There is no telephone in the room, no shampoo and no bath gel.
In the middle of night, at 1 o'clock and at 2 o'clock, somebody tried even to break in in my booked room!!!
It is for the first time I booked something through you because I have trust on you. But it will remain the last time.From now on I keep away for ever even of thinking to look at your website. And I will do all my best to warn all friends who would mind to have any business with you.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
do not choose this hotel for what ever a reason.

I thought the stay at the hotel was great. It is a little hard to find from the street. The staff did a nice job of being helpful. All the furniture is made of cement so the room have a differnt feel to them. Breakfast is good not great but the regular menu and meals are well done. The past of the hotel is the pool area, it is a getaway for the rush of the city. It is peaceful and picturesque.
Restaurant Tip:
The Topaz is a great place to eat.

We had difficulty finding the hotel as there was no signage. The reason given was the hotel is not given the license to put up the signage as it is only 3 months old. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. It would be more complete if room telephone, bathroom amenities and coffee/tea set were provided. Perhaps given more time, we should see improvement in this area. Location is a bit out of the city. However, for those looking for somewhere quiet and a more relaxed atmosphere, this hotel is the one.

We had a fantastic stay. It is a small, quiet boutique hotel with a really nice pool area surrounded by plenty of places to sit and relax and a bar that serves food. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book our next hotel in Siem Reap. The hotel is on a quiet street and is very secure. I think it relies on word of mouth and fantastic reviews as there is no sign outside the hotel advertising its presence.

The hotel was not very familiar to our taxi dirver and we spent long time to it. Actually is not and hotel, but a restaured villa adapted to hotel. THe rooms even if were quite simply furnitured was clean and in a good condition, and looks that has been renovated recently.

Boutique or not!
Small and friendly is nice when you travel alone. The team are good at knowing their guests and make you very welcome. The family feel is good if like me you want to feel recognised.

I like this hotel and the direct contact with the owners and staff who welcome you and help with local knowledge and guidance where ever possible. One BIG problem at the moment is the building works that are dominating the area around the hotel. Noise and dust are taking away much of the tranquillite that would otherwise be part of the 252 experience. I am a repeat visitor and I see no problem with staying again if I do not need daytime sleep too badly.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat less often in the heat but enjoy the variety on offer. Some good restaurants but unfair to single one out. Food at the 252 garden restaurant is to be complimented.

After arriving at Phnom Penh at 11pm at night after a long day and flight this Hotel was amazing! The feel of it and look of it are brilliant. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. You feel very safe in this hotel.
I highly recommend and would stay here again!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book a Tuk Tuk for a day with the hotel to do some sightseeing, you get the Tuk Tuk for a whole day and you get to see the city.

Paradise in Phnom Penh

After arriving in Phnom Penh late at night and a bit freaked out - this hotel was paradise. The Staff are brilliant, the hotel is so nice and so clean. Stay here! The neighbourhood is a tad rough but when your in Cambodia its where you want to stay.
I would stay here again.

Get the hotel to organise a tuk tuk for the day to show you around Phnom Penh. Russian markets are a must
