We had a good stay in The 252 Hotel. Near shopping areas, accessible to transportation. The place is quiet. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room is quiet big and the design is cool, very industrial.

Can't ask for anything more at this price range. Best feature of this hotel is the pool. Most guest look forward to a relaxing evening by the pool. Both the staff and host are willing to accomodate your request to make your stay more enjoyable and pleasent. Not an issue for most travellers but the only problems if parking as street side parking to not advisable at this location. Venturing out most time of the day should be ok, just make sure you are in a group. Continental breakfast is provided with room. This is the place to go if you have children.

We live in Phnom Penh, so this was a treat. The hotel is new and well designed. The pool is a real plus ( no kiddies pool though ) although it is very close to the bar area - so you can feel a bit 'exposed'. The staff are helpful and attentive - the owner is French and is very involved. All in all, a good choice - but there might be better out there?
Restaurant Tip:
The waterfront area and side streets off it have a lot of good restaurant choice. Haggle with the tuk tuk guys - they do over-charge tourists. Locals pay about $2 per hour!!

Had a wonderful time with my family. staff were helpful, Internet can be obtain from the front desk free of charge. if you do not have a computer can ask front staff. The bathroom floor can be a little bit slippery, be careful. I think a tempered glass door can be fixed to separate bathroom and basin. The American breakfast served were great with a beautiful decorated mixed fruit platters. The swimming pool is just nice for those who want to take a dip and relax. I had a great time with my family going for a dip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tuk-tuk can be negotiable to a dollar. Make friend with one you can trust and will be able to go anywhere you ask him to bring.

it was a big surprise to us when we arrived through the gate. very relaxed atmosphere which was there all the time we were there. We had room 1, next to the reception, on the back. Small window with no view but still we liked it. The owner and staff are really helpful and nice. Recommended the place already to many people.

belle chambre, mais parfois avec une fenetre qui donne sur un mur à 50 cm.
bon petit déjeuner, belle piscine. pas de générateur : nous avons passé plus d'une heure dans le noir le soir, vers 21h. et pareil le matin, au moins deux heures sans électricité. ce n'est pas normal. deux énormes buildings en construction juste à coté, c'est vraiment dommage.
