my 5th stay at this hotel, still improving.
few small points;
a) buffet breakfast could improve re content.
b) noisy a/c units in room.
otherwise an enjoyable stay.

italian restaurant a few doors up from fcc, reasonably cheap and good quality food.

i have stayed at the plantation twice,the location is brilliant,rooms were simple but luxurious,pool was heaven,and staff were very helpful,we loved it and will definately stay here again when i return to cambodia
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
close to all important attractions,within walking distance of the river and great restaurants,and a tukk tukk at the front door..what else do you need..

Promising package but was very disappointed

When you visit the website this promises to be one of the most attractive hotels in PP: central location, old building, large pool, stylish rooms. In fact almost any feature or service presented problems - no alert door service to help you at arrival; no dedicated parking space so i had to squeeze my car in between two huge SUVs with a serious risk of the cars scratching each other at the smallest error; internal tel numbers not available in room and 3 wrong room service numbers communicated so impossible to place my order; very weak and unstable wifi in room; no supervision of the pool so any big noisy group can take over the pool and chase other guests without management intervening; and finally and worst of all as in many other new constructions in PP: you sleep with the last guest (4 am in my case) and wake up with the first (6 am in my case). Across all these incidents i met mainly very young staff who did their best but often did not even understand my problem - i did not see one older supervisor in 3 days.
Hotel Feature Tip:
this place is ok if you sleep like a rock

Genuine and " at home" feeling

As soon as we arrive, we feel at home but with the Cambodian atmosphere : the level of English is more than satisfactory, the contact with all the staff ie friendly and professional. Even the "tuk-tuks " outside the hotel are very polite and ready to welcome you in the right way . Perfect and I am looking forward to finding it again
Travel tip:
Choose your points of interest in your " Lonely Planet " and trust the right " tuk-tuk " driver . Try him for one short trip. If it is O.K., go on with him... From the first visits to the trip back to the air port.
