Great staff and location

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. They went out of their way to please the guests and were always available to help. Incredible rooms with every convenience. Great location with view overlooking the river, and within easy walking distance of the main attractions (Royal palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum, etc.) When booking we were concerned about possible noise from the main road out front, but there was no problem for us at all. On one occasion they missed bringing our breakfast to our room as requested, but overall the service was incredible.

I was debated between the 252 and the Quay and ultimately went with the latter. I had heard that there were rooms without windows and requested a room with a window but unfortunately there was no way of guaranteeing that. If I had to do it again, I would probably stay, because I really disliked being in a windowless room, plus the bed had some issues - there was a gross stain on the bedsheet, but at 11pm after a day of touring Phnom Penh, the last thing you want to do is have them come up and change your bedsheet! Plus the last thing my husband said before we fell asleep was "does your pillow smell funny?". Yuck.
However, I thought the location was amazing (right on the river), I loved the hotel roof bar and the service was great - we were catching an early flight and the staff kindly packed us our breakfast to go, which was much appreciated. Also, the bathroom was pretty cool - room and modern.

Fabulous hotel but very expensive
Large suite room was really great, had everything you could possibly want. Good free internet. Staff were really helpful.

Very much enjoyed my stay, would have been perfect if it wasn't so expensive! The food is really nice, but could have had more veg options. Not much to complain about with this hotel. I arrived and was welcomed into my comfortable white room, plenty of space to move around, and the balcony (river view) was perfect for watching the water festival below. Work was easy as well with excellent internet and goof facilities in room.

An amazing contemporary hotel

We were lucky to stay here during the popular water festival. The rooms are really stylish and quite spacious. The bathroom was well designed with a very big shower. We were particularly impressed on our first night when a complimentary tray of sweet treats were left in the room as well as finding a candle burning lavender oil leaving our room smelling gorgeous. By far one of the best hotels we stayed in during our trip.
Nightlife Tip:
We ventured into a nightclub called 'Emerald' and had a great night. The beers were really cheap and the music a rather interesting techno/trance mix. This is where all the locals go so it was nice to be the only tourists for once.

Asked for special services for a romantic get away. All requests were performed perfectly and with a very professional attitude. Absolutely went out of their way to make this a fantastic few days. Treated in a very personal and gracious manner. Would I stay again? Would I try anywhere else?

I recently put up with Quay Hotel during my vacation in Phnom Penh and had upgraded my room to one with a balcony. The room faces the riverfront and a park, which was lovely as it provided natural breeze when we stepped into the balcony.
The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of a food/pub stretch and we did not have to worry about looking very far for decent food. The breakfast provided by the hotel should not be missed - try the pancakes!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and visitors alike.

Lovely room but untrained staff

The room is absolutely gorgeous but rather impractical in some ways. My above comment about the lack of any storage area or stand for luggage is an example. The beds are low and there is no adequate bedside table- it is almost at floor level.
The hanging space in the closet is also very short- not room for a dress to hang in it.
The bathroom is beautiful with a bath and walk in shower, and the overall decor is splendid
