Superb boutique hotel in Phnom Pehn

Willow hotel is a really really nice high-end guesthouse / boutique hotel in Phnom Pehn.
Based on my experience the rooms are nice, service is friendly and laid-back, food is good and the place seems to be really well managed. Compared to the other, much more expensive hotels, that I've stayed in Phnom Penh I would definitely recommend Willow for pretty much everyone.
The only thing that one needs to take into account is that Willow is not within walking distance (taking into account p.p. temperatures and traffic) to the main tourist drag at sisowath quay, so you will end up taking a tuk-tuk pretty much whenever you are leaving the hotel. Having said that, when I stayed in the Willow there were always friendly and english-speaking tuk-tuk drivers waiting in front of the Willow, so this really is not, in my opinion, an issue.

We stayed for 3 nights. Everything was great. Our room was at the top of the stairs so it could get a bit noisy during quiz night. Other than that everything was grand.

Very nice room, with a personal design. A really beautiful hotel with a nice garden and bar. Breakfast was good, check in was quick and attentive staff. Price reasonable for a very comfortable stay. We wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend it to our family.

i loved this hotel.. had a great big room with comfortable furniture, large flat screen tv and a huge bathroom. plus balcony overlooking the neighborhood.
the owner is australian, and as a result, many australians living in phnom penh use the hotel as a base for social gatherings. as a result, there were many interesting people hanging about.
they have an adequate kitchen with tasty local and western foods, inexpensive drinks, and a great attitude. i can't recommend this place enough.

Nice hotel, needs a crash course in service

stayed at the willow a few days ago. i liked the the room for the price. it was a 10 -15 minute walk to the riverfront and the royal palace, which was nice. but then the issues began - like the bathroom refusing to unlock. and the balcony refusing to unlock. and the staff refusing to come to our aid when we were being harassed by a remork driver at the entrance of the hotel. and the staff not aiding our check out. for a lovely property, this place needs to work on their troubleshooting, and fast. i return to pp in a week not to willow. it's nice enough, but i don't wish for my last memory of cambodia to be of ajar toilet doors.

we had a fabulous stay at the willow hotel! it has a lovely vibe and is in a great location. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the rooms were lovely and clean. the food was fabulous. i would highly recommend staying at the willow if you are heading to phnom phen. the street that it is located on has fantastic restaurants and is a really nice quiet street. i hope you choose the willow for your next trip to phnom phen.

My family and I stayed here in late January and were very impressed by the willow. The staff are fantastic and they made us feel very welcome. The drinks and food was great along with the actual layout of the hotel. It seems there are only a small amount of rooms in the willow which means we never felt over crowed and were attended to with top service. The rooms were great, nice and clean and very spacious. There was a mistake to our booking as we had accidentally put down one person for a triple room but the staff sorted it out and everything was great, they even gave us the option of talking to the Australian advisor. I would recommend the willow to anyone.
