Friends said to avoid the river hotels due to noise at night, so we chose the White Mansion Boutique Hotel. And we are so glad we did! Great service and a good night sleep is what you want on a vacation.

Check-in took just a few minutes and included a nice welcome drink. It's nice to check in while sitting on a lounge chair rather than standing in queue at the reception desk. The staff were very attentive and always smiling. We had a very large room with very high ceilings. The room was very clean and well-furnished. We discovered on our last night that the powerpoint for the minibar fridge was faulty, so had to plug it into another powerpoint in the room, but it would switch off when you leave the room. Because it was not an issue, we did not bother the staff about it. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that offered free soft drinks from the minibar fridge!
