OK, but not great.
Location, room and breakfast.

This hotel is centrally located and very clean and well maintained. My only concern is the front desk staff. They were just overwhelming, and smothering. When I go to my room carrying a bucket of ice I do not require someone to insist on carrying it for me.

We had a lovely restful stay. The building is beautiful & spacious and the cafe is white, minimalist, refreshing & serves excellent food. We stayed on the top floor (lifts only go to 3)in one of the less expensive rooms built into the roof. Because of this you have to bend down to look in the mirror. Minor problem. The neat little shops in Street 240 are only a block away. You couldn't find a better location & the boutique nature of this hotel, with their attentive staff, make this a memorable place to stay. Next time, I'll pay a bit more & stay in a suite.

Our stay at White Mansion was fantastic. The room is well designed with very high ceiling, bath room is very spacious and the room setting makes one feel calm. As it is a boutique hotel the breakfast is not in buffet form, but it is also simple and nice.

Underwhelming for the price but satisfactory

Our stay at the White Mansion was fine. The staff really was very good, but for the price point I might have expected a bit more with respect to the quality of the room. There was nothing wrong with it, but the layout was a bit unconventional. We were on the fourth floor, which is not accessible by elevator, and the room itself was a bit gabled on one side so we had to mind our heads. The bathroom as well was a couple of steps up from the main room and was an open concept space, so things got a bit wet when we used the shower. On the plus side, there was a bar fridge, a safe, a hairdryer and supplies for coffee and tea.
