ask for combined trips to far off location like Kbal spien.Be ready for a lot of walking.

Nice Hotel, kind people and breakfast amazing

I ' ve been in Borei for 3 nights to visit Angkor ( really beautiful) and we stay really well. Breakfast, swimming pool it' s really amazing. We had lunch and service it was so fast, but it' a little bit expensive and quality was not so high for the price... it's better to go to pub street and eat in some restaurant over there.
The Hotel it's big and 2 km from the centre

Very Kind and breakfast was huge

We really enjoyed in this hotel, where the staff are polite and pointed to resolve any problem. Swimming pool is nice and breakfast is huge. For lunch we eat once but price are not so good in relationship to what we have eaten .. it]s better to go to Pub Street in the centre of Siem Reap where there are a lot of nice restaurant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
To visit all the temple in Angkor you need 3-4 days.
To eat Pub Street in the centre of Siem Reap offers a lot of restaurant

an amazing hotel. upon arrival we was greeted by miss apsara from reception. she gave me a bouquet of roses pre arranged by my husband. apsara showed us to our room (152) where the bed was full of rose petals and the bath tub also filled with rose petals (not arrayed by my husband!) what a first impresson!!
i indulged in a spa treatment which was performed by a young lady called , it was devine and very professionally done. this was recommended by another beautiful young lady called . the level of service provided by this hotel just blew our minds. we decided to make the most of our short stay here and go straight to the temples. on return from a long day,we decided to head to the bar on the 4th floor for a few drinks. we was served by a lovely young man call mr sokomen. he was so friendly, and was genuinely interested in what we had done for the day. and the cocktails are amazing!!! another staff member we would like to mention is mr rain, he is one of the driver at the hotel. he truly is a wonderful guy. on our last night at staying at this amazing hotel i wrote a 4 page letter of thanks. i headed to reception to give to the team there when i was greeted by (director of resident host) approached me and asked if i was ok. i gave him the letter and briefly explained. later that evening had sent a bottle of wine and a platter of nibbles to our room as a thank you for feedback. i cannot say enough about this hotel apart from book it!!!! many thanks to a wonderful team. we will return in january 2013
Restaurant Tip:
Breakfast at the hotel is amazing, very relaxing on the terrace area to take breakfast

outstanding service
attentive service with a smile

Certainly our favourite hotel on the whole trip, even beating many 5 star properties in Thailand by far in terms of design, comfort, rooms and especially service.
We had two days with heavy rain but just enjoyed the hotel - wonderful!

The hotel is really nice, with nice rooms, and very friendly staff, I don’t find any things which really give negative impression about the hotel, From the rooms, and very nice Buffet Breakfast with good mixture of varieties of food items on their basket,
Massage & Spa is really good as said 5 star and nice swimming pool.
All together I can say, highly recommended

Amazing hotel for a great retreat

borei is exceptional with excellent service, beautiful rooms @ the new wing and a brilliant in house spa. there is absolutely no complaint about the hotel, imagine staying in a palace - that's how our stay felt, all with butler service and majestic rooms.
the team were wonderful, they packed a breakfast basket so that we could catch sunrise @ angkor wat. this hotel is def worth every cent

Property was under some construction, but that really didn't impact our stay. Great customer service, great spa and great lounge on the 4th floor. The staff seemed very happy and very polite and we really enjoyed our stay.
Nightlife Tip:
Pub Street and Night Market are worth a visit
