Real 5 stars hotel.
Top services, smiling and friendly staff
8.7
We book for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. Hotel are under renovation with noise coming in from window but we are always out from the hotel during the day. Room are tidy up and clean twice a day!! All the staff are eager to make your stay a memorable one. This is the only hotel where the staff will help you check in while you are sitting on the sofa without going to the hotel desk and also serve with a towel and drink. I love the bed and bathroom which are big with good shower.
Will recommend it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If travelling with tuk tuk, please make sure you prepare with a face mask, you won't like it if you're following behind a truck. When shopping, rules number one " haggling ". You can get discount almost 60% !!

Characterless hotel
Large corridors, Good Breakfast
5
Staff are agreeable and try to satisfy guests, although the hotel itself is in need of attention to detail. For example, the gym is terribly inadaquate, with old equipment that was never commercial grade anyway. Garden areas are charmless, with no color, no plan or design. It's as though someone built the hotel, and just left it to look after itself. And the mice in the ceilings seem to be doing quite a job of it. Not nice to be woken up to them squabbling.
The breakfast buffet is good, but the menu food is lamentably overpriced and uninspired. God only knows what indigestibles the cakes in the lobby are made of. And surely the lobby need not be habited by swarms of mosquitos.
The value simply is not there at Borei Angkor, despite all the efforts of the staff.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a nice variety of wine on offer at most restaurants at a good values. The italian place, Al Horno, on a tiny lane off pub street is wonderful.

We booked for 3 nights stay and end-up extending for another night. The Service is excellent. The room is very spacious. They are trying very hard to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. At the moment the hotel is under renovation and we have the room on the first floor. There were some noises and when we told the hotel they are offering to relocate us to another floor. Spa is very good and the food also very good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Spare 2 full days just to see angkor complexs, its huge and you will not want to miss seeing all of them. Worth taking bicycle tour for 1 of the day.

Great service, great location, great amenities
9.7
I stayed here during late July, 2012, so there were renovations going on in the front entrance. But as mentioned, it's hardly noticeable as it's hidden behind a facade, and there was no noise either.
The service was outstanding, was super impressed with the lady who knew our room number off by heart. The rooms are clean and large enough. The buffet breakfast was awesome, especially the crepe section. The pool was luxurious and relaxing. Really, you cant ask for anymore. Got a great deal through agoda, so value for money to top it off. Location was good also, but from what i saw, Everything in siem reap is easy to get to via tuk tuk, so location shouldnt be an issue as long as ur hotel is close to either Ankgor Wat or towh.
I'm pretty detail oriented and found this hotel hard to fault.

Nice walkway to the lobby
6.7
We have been upgrated to a nicer room due to low seasons. The room was comfortable so as the toilet. Safety box kept not functioning which has wasted much of our time. The staffs were not so fluent in english & the checking in process & room given were very slow. We brought the breakfast perpared by the hotel buffet f&b in early in the morning but not much choice in it.

Very good hotel with friendly staff
Rooms were very good, great breakfast, friendly staff
9.3
My wife and I stayed at the Borei Angkor and used it as a base to visit the temples and the restaurants in Siem Reap. The hotel is very well appointed and the staff friendly and helpful. We found the stay very relaxing and the hotel was a relaxing place to stay after spending some hot days walking around the temple ruins and parklands. Highly recommeneded.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get ready for long days of walking and some interesting ladders and steps.

Good Value Hotel
Large room, comfortable, good food and wine, nice breakfast
9.3
We had a good time at the Borei, it is in the city and not far from the river. It is a comfortable hotel with large rooms and a pretty decent swimming pool for an in town hotel. Good friendly service. There is some construction going on and in a few months it will be even better than now. Dont miss the special rates while the construction is going on which make is a very good deal for the money.
