The price was reasonable. The reception staff was very helpful. They give my family complimentary airport transportation. Although hotel is not big as advertisement, but its quality is reasonable with the price.

Perfect way to wind down on holiday
Attentive Staff, Friendly atomosphere and the ability to organise any part of your trip with the hospitality desk.

The attentive staff at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa are a highlight, only 15 minutes from the airport and similarly from the main temples.
Staff are always ready to greet you with a smile and assist in any way they can. I would not hesitate to stay here again should I visit Siem Reap again.

Hotel wanted a piece of action... read on
1. The buffet breakfast choices are decent. When compared to a 5 Start Jakarta Hotel Mulia

Currently the Construction on front entrance wing of hotel is still going on in May. This does not take away the ambient.
The Delux room is 40 sq meter. I happened to take a glance of the guest list that was laid on top
of an entrance table to the breakfast dining room. It listed the name of guest, room number, price paid, source of booking (such as Agoda.com). April is low tourist season
The hotel specifically stated to customer that if the customer bring a lady companion for 2 hour fun, the original customer must pay $2 extra to the hotel for this priviledge; even though you are single traveller, eat breakfast alone and booked the room on Agoda for 2 person. They want a piece of the action. So beware, the police had their cut and so the hotel want their piece of the action.

The Borei exceeded our expectations! We had two rooms and they were very spacious with a nice flat screen TV and bathroom. The breakfast was really great with a lot of choices. The staff was really friendly and even helped us borrow a DVD player one night to watch a movie. It was very easy to have the staff call a tuk tuk to ride into town - only 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed the pool each afternoon.

The staff was excellent. In particular Dany at the front desk /gift shop embodies the warmth and gentleness of the Cambodian as well as the hospitality of the hotel. The tour desk is very efficient.

Housekeeping must be improved. The room is dusty. The wastebaskets must be washed. At the very least they must have plastic liners. I cringed every time I look at the wastebaskets.

A Wonderful, Relaxing Gateway to Angkor

We were greeted and sent off in style with this fantastic hotel. They arranged our excursions to the wonders of Angkor with no problem. They were also helpful with information about the town and helped us get wherever we wanted to go.
