Good breakfast choice.

Smoky rooms, far to go downtown, bad condition of beds.

Compared to Agoda classification 4 stars seems absolutely too much for this hotel. Angkor City is a good hotel but has obviously seen better times in the past. The hotel is too far away from the center of Siem Reap which makes it a little inconvenient to choose this hotel as starting point for city tours. Hotel staff is friendly and the overall performance is okay. Anyway our expectations on this hotel have been higher.

fridge inside room, front desk and all hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, free internet

Complimentary breakfast was ok, location was a bit farther than the "main" part, but not too far that it was a huge hassle

The service at this hotel was excellent. We needed help booking bus tickets for the next day, and because it was Sunday, places were closed to get them, but one man of the front desk (i wish i knew and got his name) went even further than to try to phone around to reserve tickets, but he phoned his friend who hooked us up with tickets, and even got the bus company to pick us up, even when the hotel was farther away than where the bus company usually picks people up. We also got pizza delivered to our room which another front desk agent helped us, by phoning and ordering for us, because of the language barrier. All in all, service was 5 stars, the room was clean, and the hotel staff made our stay very enjoyable.

Hotel Feature Tip : The sheet in your hotel room may say internet is at a cost, but internet at the hotel is actually free. It is located through the door on the left of the front desk. There's 3 computers.

very near the airport and Angkor nice clean rooms and basic amenities very quiet and peaceful old hotel but well maintained

quite a distance to town

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay here.From the airport by taxi took us only about 4 minutes, and the next day by tuk tuk to Angkor about 10 minutes. I tried to rent a bike but the government has disallowed foreigners from doing so due to many accidents. The hotel room is quite spacious, and very quiet . The only problem is the relatively long way to get to town. Since there are no nightspot around the hotel, we took a tuk tuk to town for dinner and shopping. I think the journey was about 15-20 minutes.
