a little too quiet and dark at nite

this is a very quiet and out of the way hotel across the river. But for me its a little too quiet for me, maybe thats why they dont switch on all of the lights and a/c at the lobby and room corridor. The room is clean and comfortable, no complains here. The breakfast provide is good but the portion is very small. The internet and lift is famously slow but better than nothing at all.

Restaurant Tip : Eat khemer food when in khmer and thai food when in thai! :)

It is a typical budget hotel, close to the centrum.

poor breakfast, loud aircondition

Friendly staff.however they try to sell the tours all the time. Walking distance to the centre market and the post office. ( you can only send post cards from the post office).Rooms are very simple and somewhat clean.Aircondition is too loud and outside area is full of barking dogs.Very limited breakfast and average restaurant.However it is a cheap hotel for its location.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try to arrange guide before going to Angkor area, guide should have an official ID. You dont need to bring photos anymore that ticket office has started taking the photo.

Very clean, quiet and modern hotel. Convenient to Pub Street and Markets. Roof top dining is excellent for both breakfast and dinners. Restaurant has varied menu with both Indian and Cambodian chefs. Staff very friendly and helpful for arranging tours. Free Internet. Excellent value.

I stayed in the hotel late February 2008. One of the things I liked most about the hotel was its ambience. The high celinged lobby and rooms gave a very spacious feeling. The open air terrace where you could eat breakfast in the cool of the morning or dinner with a nice warm breeze continued that feeling. The other real plus about the hotel was its staff - The friendliness from those who greeted me at the desk for check-in, the attentive staff already to refill my tea or coffee at breakfast, and helpful tour desk who arranged customized tours of the temples - all spoke of a well run hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The tour desk arranged a three day customized tour of the temples so I could enjoy them in the morning and afternoons.
