Couples Canada, August 03, 2011	Small rooms but with character, superb service Great service, nice pool 9 The smaller room size is made up for by the superb attention to detail in the botique rooms. Service is beyind the ordinary. Although the price looks cheap online, it is in fact quiet expensive by the local standards in Siemp Reap. Even so, its worth every penny. Hotel Feature Tip: Pool has sanstone accents mathcing the Angkor architecture.

Great staff, lovely grounds and rooms and a great location. Located only a few minutes walk to the Markets and Pub Street, however once back in the hotel grounds it was lovely, calm and peaceful. Staff were great, friendly and warm. We were treated like old friends from the moment we arrived, lots of smiles, greeting by name and calling out hello. We were treated to a welcome massage, Khmer style - relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I would have indulged in more if we had stayed longer. We only had an overnight stay and would have loved to stay longer. We were checking out early, before the restaurant was open, so Richard offered to get up early to make breakfast for us. Sure enough, it was all ready for us at checkout. My only criticism would be the length of time to check in. We were left just sitting in the foyer for about 1/2 an hour and only moved to our room when I enquired at the desk. Not sure if we'd been forgotten or not. I did notice that another couple checking in had a staff member with them who was going through a lot of information. Maybe it was info about the hotel's services and they had decided not to worry about it with us given that we were only there for about 12 hours. I noticed a fair bit of information in the room about their tour and guide services. Prices were very reasonable and there seemed to be a good range of suggestions. It would be much easier to use these services than to arrange everything independently, I would definitely utilise this service if I return to Siem Reap. Overall, a lovely hotel, well located and well priced. Great service, personal and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

Groups Malaysia, July 30, 2011	Golden Temple with a Midas Touch Great location... 9 Once you arrive the place after being a bit skeptical with the environment...after all its a developing country... you arrive the hotel with a pleasant surpise...it does look a bit golden if not orangy red like ruby grapefruit... but most of all...you arrive with staff greeting you with a golden smile. Though you may feel a bit unease with sudden surge of friendliness but this will eventually grow into you after slurping their deliciously refreshing welcoming drink and sticky banana rice dessert. Shopping Tip: nothing much in Lucky Mall unless you need the supermarket but the air con is cooling

The staff here are so very friendly. Their boss must treat them really well. They are so very warm and always seemed genuinely delighted to see me. It is 10 mins walk to the centre of Siem Reap which has lots going on. There is a choice of 3 breakfasts - all were very good - but I prefer the buffet style. If you are single male you will get stopped virtually every minute to try to get your business for a female which is a real pain in the b. Make your "NO" very loud and sraight to their face! Also crossing over the river bridge, watch out for the ladyboys and on one occasion a female who attempted to pick my pockets. I think this is one place where female travellers have an easier time! But don't let this put you off the hotel as it's nothing to do with them. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:** Not from from Angkor Wat by tuk tuk - which is probably best way to travel round all the temple as they have "natural air con" to cool down inbetween walking/ climbing around them

Good interiors design: Bali Style. Simple and nice. Pros: Nice swimming poor, in house restaurant with nice free breakfast, one hours free massage, free welcome drinks and foods. Everything here is good. The hotel staff here is friendly and helpful. I will revisit again for sure. Nightlife Tip: near by hotel: pub street. Very nice place to hang around

Couples Canada, July 21, 2011	Fantastic Place with Excellent Staff Friendly staff, great rooms, poll is nice and the food is great 10 this was an excellent hotel with lovely, friendly and helpful staff. we really enjoyed our three days here and wish we could have stayed longer. i am a frequent traveller to asia and stayed at many 5-star hotels and the golden temple is one of the best experiences that i have had. we have no hesitation in recommending this place. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Bring US dollars. It is the currency of choice in Siam Reap. Also, bring lots of one dollar bills for tips and smaller gift items.

Couples Australia, July 18, 2011	Lovely hotel and amazing staff Incredibly friendly staff, great restaurant 10 we arrived after a 6 hour bus trip to very welcoming smile and a complementary massage. the staff were amazingly friendly and always greeted us with a smile. the food at the restaurant was very good. the pool was lots of fun and includes a spa (great after a day of walking around temples) really nice rooms, the bathroom was very nice and clean and complementary toiletries were provided (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and soap). Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Great place to stay in Siam Reap, very central and close to everything
