Great location, this boutique hotel is within walking distance to the market, and within easy access to the ruins. We almost saw His Majesty The King at the summer residence!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Banteay Srei most quiet and serene, even churchlike.

If people going there are seaking for a peaceful moment they will find what they are looking for at hotel de la paix. The team of the hotel is very helpful for whatever we need, this is a great place to stay if we can afford it.

excellent location, remember explore all the conveniences around the hotel before you hail your first tuk tuk! it's all there and better than the rest..
- Restaurant Tip : khmer restraunt two doors away is excellent, has a balcony on the 1st floor overlooking the street

I could say this is one of the most beautiful hotels I have been too, even though we stayed at the Banyan Tree in Bangkok, which was very nice. the HDLP had something special, different from other hotels. I would say "more personality".
- Restaurant Tip : Sugar Palm restaurant located in an old Khmer house.

We will definitely return to Siem Reap - loved the hotel, the people, the food, and the temples!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Sambo Khut - a wonderful driver AND certified guide (you get 2 in 1!). We really recommend him. He can speak good English and was very patient and informative.

I would recommend requesting a courtyard facing room.
- Restaurant Tip : The Blue Pumpkin Cafe offers fantastic coffee and pastries, and is a quick 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Deluxe room was good but I think Superior room will be better as it is bigger. They even have Pool Villa which looks really good. Can't miss their indoor pool with Jacuzzi, which is very nicely designed.
- Nightlife Tip : Bar street near the hotel is great for dining as well as partying afterwards, especially the Temple Bar and Angkor What? Good music and very lively.
