Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

great food
lovely pool
very nice rooms - modern and funky bathrooms
After a very long trip it was great to arrive at such a comfortable and intimate hotel and relax! Our room was directly off the pool which was perfect for late night and early morning swims and breakast included (by the pool)was nicely prepared and fresh. It was a great launching pad into Siem Reap and Ankor Wat and I would stay there again - the management is very helpful as well and the GM did everything to help travel plansin Cambodia go smootly!!!

Hard beds - but made up for it by going for a swim in the morning.
Hotel has shuttle bus to town in the evening, but we were not informed about this - only figured it out after looking at hotel brochure on Day 4.
Found La Maison on Agoda and was very impressed. Siem Reap is a loudy, busy town and it was nice being a little removed from it all. La Maison was super - pool and gardens were fantastic.
Beds were a bit harder than we would have liked, but it made it easy to get up in the morning for a swim and to go see the temples.
Breakfast was choice of continental, asian or western(bacon and eggs). Was always a bit of a mystery as to what portions of the Continental would appear.
Staff were happy to help, and local tuktuk drivers were fantastic - ask for Sam Bo!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tuk Tuks are great - set price for day between $15 and $25 depending on how long you need them for, and how far you want to travel. Some of the more remote temples are beautiful.
Also, surcharge for after dark services on tuk tuk.
We did cooking class at La Tigre de papier - highly recommend it!

Attractive building in beautiful well-kept grounds, friendly welcome including a personal one from the manager himself, attentive staff, excellent menu at the poolside verandah restaurant, well-appointed bedrooms in chalets within the gardens, easy to reach from airport.
We liked everything - even the location not bang in the centre (it was quieter) because transport into town and to main attractions was easy to arrange.
This is a wonderful hotel set in lush tropical gardens around a dreamy pool. But what sets this hotel apart is the quality of service from staff - from the friendly and knowledgeable reception (including a personal welcome from the manager himself) to the wonderful restaurant service. The food was really good and well-presented and service was attentive without being intrusive. It was also highly professional, unlike in many hotels in the region where well-meaning amateurism reigns, at the Maison d'Angkor everyone knows what they should be doing and does it. Very impressive - I will be back with some more of my family!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to Angkor Wat and to the Tonle Sap (floating village) and only a couple of kilometres from the centre of Siem Reap.
