We were not really aware that the prefered currency was $US although Baht and Rials (the local currency) were accepted in most places. Nobody informed us of the $US25 departure tax at the airport which came as a shock, but they take credit cards.
- Travel tip : Tuk tuks are excellent value for sightseeing, we engaged one for the entire 3 day stay the driver spoke good English and his local knowledge and guideance very useful.

We were given a free upgrade to a suite which is definitely a plus. However, the shower cubicle somewhat leaked and we had to use the shower above bath tub to avoid flooding the floor.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are getting a tuk-tuk to town, you should pay no more than $3, $2 for couple and $3 for 4 persons. To Angkor Wat, it's $4-$5 trip. All prices mentioned are for one way.

A great hotel with a Cambodian feel and look, offering something different from your standard hotel.
