A Third World Hotel That Tries Hard!

i stayed here mostly because of the effusive reviews of others who did me a great disservice for which i hope they all suffer irretractable diarrhea!
the hotel is several miles from downtown siem reap so you're kind of stranded. the staff were extremely kind & sweet (the best part of the place)and will surely get you a tuk-tuk driver if they can for outings. it's mainly a place that gets a bus load of tourists in a for a single night who essentially crash there, get a edible breakfast & are gone. the worst part was the "neighborhood vigilance committee" which consists of all the dogs in the the area who go on a howling spree every night, several times a night and usually lasts for approx a 1/2 hour.
it pains me to say "i'd avoid this place and make sure you stay somewhere downtown" and that's only because i liked the folks who worked there so much. but that is not a reason to recommend it.
