Prum Bayon Hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens and decked out in an authentic Khmer style. Apart from the impressive architecture, the outdoor pool area and gardens make for exceptionally scenic views. Spend a day in bed, as the guest rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar and satellite television. Sample wine at the lounge bar or enjoy Western and Asian cuisine from the restaurant. Although it’s roughly a 15-minute walk to Siem Reap’s city center, taxis and tuk tuks shorten travel time to about five minutes. Public transportation is also available for visiting nearby attractions such as the Bayon temple and the Old Market. The fitness center is new and available throughout the day. Airport pick-up to and from the hotel can also be arranged.

Very friendly staff, especially the general manager, who crafted an excellent touring itinerary for us and found us a reliable driver. Clean, nicely appointed rooms. A short tuk-tuk ride away from downtown.
Highly overpriced internet (more than 3 times the amount you pay in town). Pool showers are dirty and full of mosquitoes (but shower in room was just fine, which is more important). Breakfast wasn't much to write home about.
Overall, this is a nice place to stay in Siem Reap and good value for the cost. The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful, and all of the staff was very kind. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a long hot day of touring temples.
