Nice and spacious room. This is the second stay in the same hotel but in a different room, this time we had a balcony with pool view...which is truly nice. The shower door in the bathroom is unable to shut properly, the water can spill and flooded the bathroom floor, other than than we like this hotel very much.
Hotel Feature Tip:
THere is no free shuttle from hotel to the airport. Hotel charge $10, outside taxi charge $7.

This is a beautiful hotel and we had a great stay at the hotel. Our room was perfect with triple beds and it was so comfy. There were not much choices for breakfast but we enjoyed having it at the poolside. WIfi is available but we had to ask for it.
This hotel is near to the airport but is considered far from the town centre.
Shopping Tip:
The Angkor Night Market is near to the old market and Pub Street. IT is good to have a walk from Central Market and then go to Old Market and enjoy the shopping spree at the Night Market, the hawker food near these area are cheap and good.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tu tu are the most common transportation mode. Things are cheap at the night market and stour location.

We had a great stay at the hotel our room was perfect for us and had a nice view of the pool area with a small balcony in which we enjoy a couple of nights. We also did enjoy the food except for the breakfast as it seems to cater more towards asain food then western foods. I myself would like to have seen more veriety in the selection in this area, but that is just me. We also did have some trouble with a short in the power in our room, but the staff can and fixed it right away which was great. Not much else to say except we would surly stay there again if we ever return to Cambodia.

I spent 3 nights there that very good. Room rate is reasonable with clean and quite. Wifi can easy to get it. Staff is willing to help you.
Shopping Tip:
Recommend to bring water with you, weather is a bit hot.

Royal Empire Hotel is a very nice hotel with good communication to the airport and center of the town.
The best thing for me was the helpful stuff, clean and nicely furniture room.
I was a little bit disappointed by breakfast menu mostly focused on Chinese tourist.
Especially poor was brad and coffee.

A four star hotel at a two / three star rate, depending on the deal on offer. Staff at the desk and restaurant were amazingly helpful and considerate. Pool good, breakfast brilliant. We were terrifically pleased with this hotel.
Travel tip:
Use dollars in Cambodia. We were advised to exchange Thai Baht for Riels but I think dollars would have been much more convenient and maybe a better economic bet.

Spacious room, liked the wood furnishing in the room, a very clean hotel.

This hotel is about few kilometres away from the town centre, therefore will need tuk-tuk to get around. No worries, there are many hotels along this road and many tuk tuks to catch.
We can see a big shopping centre coming up around this area, I think it would be ready by mid-2011. I would come back to this hotel if I visit Siem Reap again, provided the room rates remains. This hotel is new and I like the modern facade, comparing to the others.
