friendly staff, very helpful with arranging transport, excellent breakfast, nice pool
no free wifi, pool is only open until 6pm
This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at in any country I've ever been to! The whole place is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, the salt water pool is relaxing, the breakfast buffet was very tasty, the grounds are gorgeous and the room was very comfy. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel to anyone who is looking for a more luxurious experience in Cambodia.

Spacious room, with fab pool area.
Staff made great effort to make us feel welcome. The bed in the room was huge but the room was still spacious, with very nice bathroom. Pool was good size with a lovely waterfall feature. We enjoyed their irish bar for a nightcap in the evening, staff there also very pleasant.
Nightlife Tip : Pub street, good place to go in evening, lots of choice of restaurants/bars. Night Market had nice silver jewellery.

Location, staff and facilities
This was our first trip to Cambodia and we really enjoyed the Sokha Angkor Hotel. The foyer is large and very unusual - we took a lot of pictures there. The pool area is also very different. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. We actually recommended this hotel to two friends and they have now stayed there and really loved it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When you get a taxi from the airport you can arrange with the driver to pick you up and take you on sightseeing trips - we did this and it was well worth it.

Nice, clean hotel. A/C (it's hot here) and good location. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Rooms located above the pub are noisy at night when the band's playing.
Overall, this was nice hotel. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The rooms were nice although the beds were hard (standard for Asia hotels). The breakfast was excellent and the pool was a nice option in the afternoon after temple touring. The location is near the temples and markets. Good location. Tuk-tuks are cheap!
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't stay in a room located over the pub, just ask to move right away...it's noisy on nights the band is playing.

Lovely hostesses.
Clean room.
Spacious lobby.
Good food.
Salt water pool to do laps.
Sauna, Spa, massage .
Attentive staff.
Over price in everything.
Cheaper outside for good food and transport.
No assistance for traveling and sightseeing apart from what is provided by the hotel which is overpriced.
Enjoyed staying in the hotel. Will come again if appropriately priced. One can get return through high price and small number or lower price and bigger number. The hotel should think seriously about this possibility.
Restaurant Tip : Mondial bistro for copious food and cultural show for hypnotic hand dancing of apsaras. Reasonably priced. French restaurant Victoria Bistrot for atmosphere and good food by Cambodian chef.

Spacious rooms. Everything works.
The check-in procedure always takes some time.
Sokha Angkor is a very good hotel. The location is good: between the temples and town. It only takes 5 minutes by tuk tuk to go to Pub street. The staff is friendly, although the check-in procedure always takes some time. The rooms are good. If you book a room with a kingsize bed, you really have a kingsize bed (it is 3 meters wide I think). The breakfast is good. They have a nice pool for cooling down after visiting the temples.
Restaurant Tip : the Japanese restaurant in the hotel (next to the swimming pool) is fantastic!!!

A 5 star resort at 3-4 star price.
Beautiful, beautiful modern designed resort about a 10 minute drive from Siem Reap airport. Breakfast buffet the best we've had in Asia. The cooked to order noodles were fabulous. We couldn't wait to eat breakfast! Used the pool after visiting Angkor temple ruins during day. So relaxing and refreshing. An English-syled pub nightclub on lower level has friendly Philipino, live entertainment. Audience invited to sing their favorite songs. Enjoyed cocktails and music each night before retiring. Resort car to/from airport was free. Lounge is open to pool and very comfortable for afternoon relaxing. Room and bathroom large with comfortable bed overlooking pool.
Travel tip : Inexpensive internet across the street. Be careful when crossing because it is busy street. At evening take walk to night market and many eating places. Foot massages for $6.

Great hotel close to the action and lots of Cambodian character. Salt water pool area is amazing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The jungle temples are amazing. A must see. Also a half day to the Floating Villages are well worth it to see how people live on the water.

You have to go to the spa and massage of Sokha. I think that this hotel's is really good, but massage outside is not really good.
Shopping Tip : Within 10 min walk you can find old market with various cheap souvernirs and accessories, but always you need to negotiate the price with the shop owners. The price will go down more than you estimated.
