Located in the French Quarter of Siem Reap, the Steung Siem Reap reopened in 2005 with a new French/Khmer design.

The hotel is in the Old Market area where guests can enjoy trips to the local restaurants and bars. Its location allows access to the international airport and Angkor Wat in just 15 minutes. For those dining in, the hotel’s restaurant serves Asian and Mediterranean cuisine throughout the day. Spend a night out without the children, as there are baby-sitting services available. Easily the best thing about the hotel is its location - 2 minutes walk from Pub Street where all the action is - restaurants, bars and the night market. So you are less confined to eating in the hotel as you would be if you were in one of the hotels on the road to Angkor.

Very little to dislike about the hotel - the only thing is that they are a little stingy about letting you have free extra bottles of water - a minor complaint.

I think this hotel is great value for money - we got two rooms for less than $50 each per night which was a bargain. The service was friendly and helpful and they let us check out at 4 pm for an evening flight without charging us anything extra. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable and the breakfast spread was pretty decent. The other facility that you will use a lot, especially in summer is the swimming pool. It is a good-sized pool for a hotel of this size and you can order food and beer from the restaurant which is right next door.

Restaurant Tip : We enjoyed the Red Piano restaurant in the heart of Pub Street where you can watch all the street action from the upstairs balcony or sit out for drinks on the sidewalk. Good selection of Cambodian and Western food and really inexpensive - we spent less than $20 for four of us including a couple of beers ! The hotel has a shopping centre and a laundry right on the street right outside which is also very convenient.

great location. excellent service. clean room.

Night staff at reception not so good in English. Make sure to do travel arrangements in the morning or afternoon.

Location is perfect. Half a minute walk to the Old Market, where you can find food, massage, clothes, and anything you need. Just a little further and you're on Pub Street. Yet tranquil, because it's on a side street. The room was impeccably clean, with comfortable beds, cable TV, etc. The place also has a free breakfast with Khmer and western options.

Good room, Good location ,not far from old market

I have some problem in 2nd night for morning call. The staff don't record for my request to morning call. I think it human error.

That's great hotel from me in Siem Reap. The hotel is not far from old market. You can walk befor dinner in around hotel for relex and walk to shopping at old market. The room is very clean and furniture nake form wood. They're provied internet to room but you don't forget to take LAN cable for use internet in your room. The breakfast is fine. For your request for morning call you should be to confrim who get your request was write to book. I and my friend have some problem with this case. We ask front to make morning call to us on mornig. But he write to the note paper and forget to put to the log book. We didn't get morning call in second night but on first night we got it. It's not big problem with us but if you have plan to fly that problem.
