Located in the French Quarter of Siem Reap, the Steung Siem Reap reopened in 2005 with a new French/Khmer design. The hotel is in the Old Market area where guests can enjoy trips to the local restaurants and bars. Its location allows access to the international airport and Angkor Wat in just 15 minutes. For those dining in, the hotel’s restaurant serves Asian and Mediterranean cuisine throughout the day. Spend a night out without the children, as there are baby-sitting services available. For the long-term traveler, kitchenette sets are in the larger guest rooms. The onsite bar and outdoor pool gives guests the opportunity to spend the day relaxing.
Please note that there are no extra charges for children between 3-11 years sharing an existing bed with parents or guardian (Maximum of guest allowed per room is 2 adults and 1 child only). Breakfast charges for child USD3.00. Breakfast for extra adult USD 5.00 per person.

The hotel is a bit tired and old but it's location is the best being half a block from the Old Market, Art Market and one street from Pub Street where there are dozens of restaurants and bars. The town is flat and easy to walk around, there are plea of tuk tuks to take you anywhere - USD 1 anywhere in the town and by negotiation outside - you can even get the to take you to Angkor Wat,
We LOVED the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of Siem Reap.

There before across the river, turn right by the street along the river about 3 minute drive, Steung Siemreap Hotel is right on the right side just behind Preah Prohm Rath Pagoda and behind Angkor Trade Center where the Pizza Company and Swensens is located.
From Bus Station (Chong Kao Sou): Using National Road No.6 to the western about 3 km, there will be a Siem Reap River. There after crossing the river and turn left by the street along the river about 3 minute drive, Steung Siemreap Hotel is right on the right side just behind Preah Prohm Rath Pagoda.
