Basic accomodation for a busy schedule
6
This hotel is in the heart of shopping, nightlife and great food. Lots of stairs to climb though to get to your room! Free internet :) My air con and tv didnt work though
Restaurant Tip:
Amazing cheap eateries everywhere...all within walking distance...which saves money in tuk-tuks

Nothing beats Stueng when it comes to location.
Location. Friendly staff.
9.3
the biggest selling point of stueng is the location. it's situated next to the old market, with the pub street only a few steps further. whether you enjoy nightlife, stueng would be a perfect location to use as a base to explore siem reap due to its proximity to all major amenities.
staff are generally warm and friendly and will smile and greet whenever they meet you, making the stay comfortable. room is of adequate size with good, powerful aircon.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beng Mealea is amazing. Do pay a visit if you have a few days to spare in Siem Reap.

Perfect Location
The Hotel is located in the French quarter and only a few minutes walk to Pub Street with fantastic bars and restaurants.
8.7
Although the bathrooms are a little tired the hotel is very clean and had everything we required for a great holiday. Our two rooms were next door to each other, as we had requested. There is plenty of space to hang and fold clothing. We looked out onto the street which was very interesting at different times of the day, some rooms overlooked the pool. The breakfast, although small, had a sufficient choice of English, Continental, American and Asian style breakfasts. The restaurant also served lunches by the pool which was handy after a morning of sightseeing. The food was very good but not as cheap as in Pub Street. The hotel organised a car to take us to Ankor Wat etc.. It cost $30 per day but was worth it. Tuk Tuks are a great way to get around and very cheap but agree the price before setting off. Be prepared to be asked to buy things from disabled people and very young children as it can get very intense. $1 notes are very useful as they will buy most hawker souvenirs. An absolute must is a visit to Acodo Orpanage to watch the children's show. Donations made after the show ensure the children have enough food to eat without having to beg.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Acodo Orphanage - the children's show is an absolute must.

Above average hotel
Great location and friendly staff members
8.3
Perfect location - near Old Market, Pub Street, spa, massages, food outlets, etc. Wonderful service - service with a smile and the endless good mornings. Tour guide arranged by hotel was very knowledgeable. Had good experience with him.
Only one small flaw, room was not thoroughly cleaned during daily servicing; floor was still a little dusty and hair was visible in the bathroom.
Would recommend to keen travelers.

Ok- but wouldn't stay again
7.3
We felt that this hotel was in a good location however it was old and getting run down. All the gym equipment is rusty and barely works... I wouldn't book this hotel for the use of the gym!

Not worth the money you pay
5
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The best facility of the hotel was the swimming pool as it was clean and quite big. It is in the heart of Siem Reap. You must pay attention with the computers at reception as there is free wifi but if you use the computers placed at reception you have to pay but they tell you once you have used them.
