Comfortable hotel in the French Quarter.

This hotel is ideally located for nightlife after a day at Angkor, yet on a quite corner for a good night's sleep.

The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is extensive. Ask for a room in the larger building if you want to be close to the pool and dining room, but the other building is quieter and just across the street. Don't forget to ask for the password for the free WiFi. The dining room can be busy for breakfast when a large group is rushing to be ready for the bus.
Shopping Tip: Visit Artisans d'Angkor near the old market to see how Cambodian youth are learning traditional arts and crafts. You can shop there , too.

Fab hotel

we have just returned from a three day trip to siem reap, staying at the steung siem reap hotel.  the hotel was great, right in the centre but very quiet and with everything right on your doorstep.  the hotel staff were all very nice and the rooms were clean and tidy with air con, free wireless and satellite tv.  the hotel also has a lovely pool: a great place to unwind after a full day at the temples.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: We were fortunate to have a fantastic driver, recommended by friends, who picked us up at the airport and took us everywhere over the three days and you have a choice of a tuk tuk or a car and all for $25 a day.  His name is Thera (pronounced Tiera).  He is courteous, knowledgeable, very friendly and speaks excellent English.  What a great stress free time we had with Thera. When he is not working, Thera is a volunteer at the local orphanage teaching English. We highly recommend

steung siem reap hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay in all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful . the hotel is situated in a pleasant part of siem reap close to all of the night and eating spots ,but is in a nice quiet part of town, also close to the river. i will certainly be recommending the hotel to my friends who will be coming to cambodia

Lovely hotel with great service and good location

This is a very nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The location could not be better, just at the edge of the action in town. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast is included and very good. The pool is nice and quiet for those who want to relax. The staff can recommend very good restaurants and sights to see.

we stayed 3 days. i loved the hotel. the location is great walking distance of the old market, pub street and all restaurants. great stuff (they put all the willing even if their english is not perfect), clean, good swimming pool and free internet. i will go there again for sure!
