Great location, wonderful staff and great swimming pool.
Breakfast buffet is expensive and very limited. The air conditioning was not very good.
We had a lovely stay at the Victoria Resort in Siem Reap. We have stayed at the Victoria in Phan Theit and stayed here because of the lovely time we had there. The Victoria Angkor Wat did not disappoint and was a nice home away from home during our four days in Cambodia. The only negatives were the very sparse and overpriced breakfast buffet (just go to town for breakfast) and the air conditioning took hours to cool off our room. The staff was very accommodating and responsive to these issues though. Enjoy the wonderful saltwater pool!
Travel tip : Go to FCC hotel two blocks away for great food and wonderful massages.

The pool area, the bar looking out over the pool and the trees in the middle of the hote, overall a wonderful old colonial feel to the hotel, but with all the mod-cons you could want.
We loved this hotel, our only very slight criticism would be that we thought that breakfast was a little pricey at $16 per head. We had breakfast at the hotel on the first morning but on the second we headed into town instead.
Everything was very good, but the things that we loved about the Victoria at Siem Reap were the beautiful pool area (they have a large salt water pool). The pool is easy to access with steps, has plenty of loungers and is surrounded by trees. We also loved the bar area, which has a delightful 1930's feel- fantastic for a sundowner looking out at the pool! and the lovely trees in the middle of the hotel (just outside our room) which are decorated with beautiful lights at night. A very romantic feel to the place and one of our favourite hotels anywhere to date!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a tuk tuk to the temples (i.e. rather than a taxi). It's much airier and nicer than being stuck in a taxi all day!

friendly staff, gorgeous setting, nice bars, cafes and restaurants, cozy room
Ideally located, equipped with all the amenities which you would expect of a first class Hotel. Friendly staff, well stocked gift shop, good restaurant and great poolside cafe/bar and very nicely decorated, comfortable rooms.

Good location, nice staff, nice rooms, awesome pool.
Hamburgers were not great.
This is a very nice hotel. The location is great and the rooms are really nice. Fresh fruit daily in the rooms. A lovely happy hour and a wonderful wait staff. Loved the swimming pool. A short distance from town, which is nice that you are close to the action but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Friendly staff, welcoming and most obliging. Clean, bright, and airy rooms. Modern decoration in keeping with the style of the hotel.
Wait staff too eager to remove dishes, often when a meal has not been completed. Need a little time to savour the meal before plates are removed.
My stay at the Victoria Angkor was the highlight at the end of a 2 week stay in Vietnam and Cambodia. Peaceful, stylish and quiet, a lovely place to relax at the end of a day of sightseeing or coming home for a well earned swim after a hot and muddy day out and about.
Hotel Feature Tip : Staff willing to weigh luggage to comply with airline restrictions. Just ask for a set of weights at the Concierge desk.

Nice hotel, good grounds, for the most part a good staff.
Housekeeping needs help. Rotting flowers and fruit would be left in the room until we called to have it removed. Floors would not be swept, in general housekeeping was very inconsistent. However once asked they would correct but why should I have to ask to have moldy flowers and rotting fruit removed. Hotel restaurant food a bit lacking and very expensive for the area.

Distinctive and unique decor, very nice soft, salt water pool(gentle on skin and eyes),a tuktuk drive to Angkor Wat, very good buffet breakfast.
A most comfortable and friendly hotel on the way to Angkor Wat. Lovely large room with balcony overlooking the beautiful planting of the central pool area. An interesting bar with pub games and books to leaf through. There's also a very reasonably priced boutique with exquisite items, including beautifully finished pure silk, long evening dresses. Highly recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For a wonderful day or 2, sightseeing, I recommend'Jack' tuktuk driver(wife=Shitarc). He will take care of you and plan your itinerary. We learned so much from him.

Good decoration, nice facilities and services.
bathroom is a little bit small.
As a new hotel opened ay 2003, it's decoration looks like a old colonial building. The room is very confortable and the facilities is good enough. The price is very fair in low season and it's really nice to have a tea break at the poolside. I definetely enjoy it.

very nice resort with huge salty swimming pool
We stay at Victoria Angko resort and was very happy. All services are perfect. The swimming pool is huge with salt water and alot of green area surrounding. Hope you will have a good time here. Location is a bit far from local market but it while cozy and needs 15 minutes walking to Old Market. We will be back next time.

Newly built hotel, salt water swimming pool, champagne buffet breakfast, close to town.
Needs better lighting in the pool area at night time. Many rooms are across the other side of the pool area and its a bit hard to see in the courtyard area.
This is an excellent hotel and excellent value. Courtoues helpful staff. A few minutes from the main tourist restauarant and market strip by tuk tuk and easy access to the major temple ruin sights by car. Has tour desk and gift shop. The hotel was still busy when we were there in shoulder period (July). The hotel very helpfully provides mosquito zappers.
Nightlife Tip : The hotel is a short tuk tuk ride ($2-3) to Pub St, the main night time tourist resturant stip in Siem Reap.

Nice atmosphere, and decent food with a varied menu.
Siem Reep has very quickly tuned into the value of the American dollar.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lots of tuk-tuk's right outside the hotel. Negotiate on prices. They are asking first world prices for third world goods.

The hotel has two very interesting elevators. The hotel cars along with the elevators make it seem as though it is a page out of history (even though it is all rather new).
Shopping Tip : Don't bother with the "night market," it is just souveniers, the same stuff and more is available in the Central Market.

This hotel is located in a very quiet, scenic area of Siem Reap but is centrally placed so traveling to various sites of interest is very easy and accessible. You feel like you are in your own private space, out of the hustle and bustle of the main part of town.
Hotel Feature Tip : The pool area was first rate - very large, salt water pool beautifully maintained and landscaped. Like being in a jungle with pool side food and drink service.

Employee-friendly smile, a clean room conditions, the atmosphere in the interior, a pleasant swimming pool.
Breakfast is expensive. Promotions tied to the purchase of a separate breakfast was $ 16 more than the price expensive. Like to have dinner in the restaurant because it felt more like that. Rather, lunch, dinner, the price is considered more reasonable.
Mind is the ultimate in service. Rooms also like condition. BAINS 2 did not request a reservation, but separate rooms keonekting made the assignment. Everywhere to meet and greet people with a smile, was to feel good. Haejueo twice a day service teondaun often need to take a shower siemripeseo can always use a clean towel pposongpposonghan iteotseupni. Swimming pool and different than I thought I saw in the picture was fine. Jeokeotgi very wide because of the passengers, but not that's fine. However, a Jacuzzi, but because work was ahswiwot. Request that if you think there might have been heard, gentlemen, but was never gwichanahseo. Back as the late flight, please have a rate check out.
Shopping Tip : Walk to the Old Market in hot weather geotgien a burden to the streets georigin.'re Chasing Lucky Mart on the nearest convenient place. A $ is the Old Market will be the pitter-patter.
