At first I was worried as the hotel backs onto the infamous Utopia night club. However, this proved to be no issue at all as Utopia appears to have quietened down dramatically (it has a new roof and hugely lowered volume), and the hotel rooms face away from it. There was no undue, annoying noise from any source actually. The staff were great, the room was excellent - very clean, great shower, large flat screen tv, dvd player, fridge and good wifi. The hotel is an easy walk to the beach at the jetty end. Two free drinks on arrival and free coffee with breakfast.We will stay there again.

Clean rooms but not that close to beach

Was ok. Food in Restaurant ok, they are trying but unfortunately its not that amazing. Hotel is on a small Hill, close to everything but you always have to walk Down (and up again) in this Heat....

Nice hotel from walking distance to beach
Good location, clean rooms, great staff

I stayed one week on Coolabah Hotel and it was a nice hotel. 5 minutes walk to beach, nice rooms, great staff which helped me few times.
Shower area in bathroom was quite small as the swimming pool in the hotel. Otherwise nothing to complain. Would stay again.
